Yeah, those JB patches for the home jerseys are really rare. I'd love to score one of those. I might go Gonchar too, if I can snag this. No way I keep two Carey's in my collection. I'm honestly a little surprised I still have the one...haha.

Ok, I got these back from Mike a couple of weeks ago, and I'm finally getting around to posting them: Thanks to Ian for hooking me up with the Vipers jersey a while back...it's about time I got that one done. The 1998 Cup Finals Bondra used to be a Chris Simon. I had it stripped due to a poor custimization job (and the fact it was Simon). The "1's" are SLIGHTLY off, but I'm really happy with it. EPS did the kits for both.

Ok, I finally got my hands on another authentic pre-2000 Capitals Alternate. Now I can't seem to find a legit 25th Anniversary patch. I went up to Pittsburgh for last year's Classic, "Rocking the Red"...and everyone was surprisingly nice to me. There were a lot of Caps fans around, but I sat right next to a die hard Pens fan (Caps hater), and he was super cool the entire game. He was actually going out of his way to make conversation and whatnot. We definitely received the usual banter waking by large groups of Pens fans, but that's to be expected when entering a home team's arena/stadium with the visiting team's jersey on. And even that was all in good fun. It was friendly and entertaining. I guess the same can be said when I used to go the Igloo with Capitals gear. I never had a problem. I know it's not Philly, but I just wanted to clear Pittsburgh. It's a great city.

I ordered 3 kits from EPS long before Thankgiving...they still haven't arrived. He originally told me that it would be just a few weeks turnaround. Now Josh won't answer emails... I'm going to give Stitches a shot on my next jersey.

I have to ask...when did you place your order with EPS? I ordered 3 kits on 11/14, and they still haven't shown up. I know they're super backed up w/the holidays and all, but I guess it's good to see that they're still sending our stuff out.

Their Home/Away 1.0's are still priced at $300.
