anyone want to go halves on a few of these? I'd like one but I can't afford an authentic and I don't need 2 monsters jerseys

same as just about everyone, I'd only buy authentic if I could afford it, but right now I can't do it

ok hopefully someone on this board knows the answer to this- So I have a friend that me and another guy are teaching to play hockey. today we're skating around talking about jerseys and he tells us this: He works for a moving company, and around 2002 he moved stuff for some USA team; tons of pucks, sticks, gear and all that. He says he thinks it was the Olympic team but I don't think they ever came near here (colorado). Dude knows nothing about hockey so it could be any USA team, probably some junior team or something. anyway, when they finished the job the team let the each mover have a jersey. I haven't seen it yet but this is how he described it- Nike brand white with USA logo in a blue circle name on it is D. Smith #77 apparently it's game-used so anyone have any idea who/what this jersey is? we all work at night together and he's gonna bring it in tomorrow, so I'll post pics when I see it.

wait...sorry to be a total n00b here, but all this talk of griffenfood jerseys I've seen on this board, that was referring to the name of an ebay seller? so this guy fakes enough jerseys that fake jerseys now basically are named after him?

Thanks Zoom. I really haven't had any experience with the Edge jerseys yet, but from what I've seen the WC jerseys are cut more like the CCMs, which is fine by me. btw Derby that Jets jersey is awesome, if I was going to get any of the vintage jerseys it would be that one.

notice in every picture (including the strategically placed towel) it never shows the tag, I'm guessing there's a reason for that. also the whole 'pick any size' thing and the fact that he's in China...I'd stay far away from that one.

Very nice, I like the choice of Sharp too. I just ordered mine a few days ago, it came down to Keith or Toews and I went with Toews after seeing how nice Crimsons jersey looked.

hey guys, I stumbled on this forum in my search for Hawks jerseys and you all seem to be the authority. I'm not a serious collector, I only have about half a dozen and I'm pretty sure they're all only replicas. I'm also really not into the new RBK jerseys, I'm mostly looking for older CCM replicas and authentics. So my questions- 1. Where do you get your jerseys? I've gotten a few off craigslist and even a couple from thrift stores, but ebay seems to be nothing but knockoffs these days and I don't trust anything on there. 2. How can you tell the difference between a replica and an authentic when it comes to the CCMs? 3. Any advice you can give someone like me who's just starting to collect? Thanks
