  1. I've been looking, but the one-offs seem to be just printed/sublimation so far.
  2. Apologies if this is in the wrong forum... Do any of you guys/gals know of a place where I can get a one-off embroidered crest? I asked IceJerseys, but they couldn't do a one-off. I understand the cost, but a one-off is still cheaper than 10-20, etc. I want to create a crest out of one of my concept logos and put it on a blank jersey. I'd also want to have name/numbers on there as well. Something I've always wanted to do and I'd like to do a step by step of the process for my website (puckdrawn.com) Thanks in advance!
  3. Hey all, I created a fun poll on my site (with images) that I'm calling the Battle of the Black jerseys. I'm not a fan at all of black jerseys, and I thought it would be fun to see which one team gets to keep theirs. POLL LINK
  4. There was a little bit of info regarding the Predators third jersey for next season in an article in the Nashville Tennessean. LINK TO STORY THAT IT APPEARED
  5. Man, those old Whalers jerseys are fantastic.
  6. For a hockey logo/jersey/design nut like me, this is a bummer. Although, it's not like a whole lot of updates or posts were happening there for awhile anyway. http://tinyurl.com/cyyuqm
  7. The Phantoms have just unveiled ANOTHER specialty jersey. http://www.phantomshockey.com/pressbox/archive/2439.asp The Broad Street Bullies are one of the most-recognized groups in NHL history, well known for their style of play that brought two Stanley Cups to Philadelphia in the 1970s. In many ways, those teams have defined the entire history of Flyers hockey. The Broad Street Bullies shaped the future of hockey in Philadelphia and also developed into an entire culture of expectations for opponents and fans at the historic Spectrum, making the building one of the most loathed places to play for other NHL organizations. The Phantoms will be honoring those Flyers teams of the 70s on Friday, February 20 as part of their celebration of the final season at the Wachovia Spectrum. The club will wear a Broad Street Bullies-themed jersey as their second specialty jersey of the season when the club hosts Portland at 7:05. The jerseys can be seen tonight at phantomshockey.com. The game will also honor Frank Miceli, one of this year’s inductees into the Phantoms Hall of Fame. The contest will be televised on Comcast SportsNet beginning at 7:05. After the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off in Bullies Restaurant, named for the very group of Flyers the jerseys represent. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Comcast-Spectacor Foundation.
  8. Hey JeffB, I sent you a private message about it. Perhaps you didn't get it. I'll try again with the details. Cool!
  9. Yeah, that's be really cool. Obviously I want to do this feature more than once, so anyone who's got a decent collection would be great to include. I just can't do MY collection because it's only 6 jerseys. haha. I'll send you a private message once I get all the stuff together. Thanks!

Wow, that's really bad. Out of curiosity, what was the price on all of that as compared to what IceJerseys would have charged? Thanks for the heads-up. Even if I see a "deal" at NHL.com, they can keep their kiddy letter customization.
  11. haha. yeah, he was the first person i thought of, so i sent him a message. hopefully he's into it!
  12. Hey guys, I have a blog about hockey design and I'm looking to do a little feature on hockey jersey collectors. Mainly I'd like to concentrate on those with a decent sized collection. So it'd be a few questions, a pic of your favorite jersey in your collection and some pics of where the jerseys are stored to show the amount of space they take up. Thanks. This noob collector appreciates it. Johnny
  13. Does my Flyers "GRISWOLD - 00" count?? Cause this is my favorite!
  14. That barbershop jersey may be one of the worst things to look at during a game. Out of all of those I like the 1910 jerseys (red, green, realistic leaf with old-timey letter). Really sweet looking!
  15. A lot of people just may not even care. Budget may be a factor as well as having absolutely no eye for accuracy. I'm no hockey collector guru, but even if I was, i wouldn't even think twice about the poor craftsmanship on their jersey.
