  2. Griswold CCM. Big block or Small block?

This might be one of my favorite threads in quite a while. hahaha
  3. Griswold CCM. Big block or Small block?

I just saw a guy in a bar last night and kind of got me thinking about making one of these myself...
  4. 2017-2018 Jersey Watch

I think those things look incredibly sharp. They look like they could be a Team USA jersey almost.
  5. The Patch Thread 2.0

If you want the new thinner plastic backing removed, I actually found the best way to do it is just to boil a pot of water and USING TONGS (or something similar) hold the patch over the rising steam. It will evaporate right off after a few minutes. However, I've found that they sew right down nice and easy even if you don't remove.

I'm always obnoxiously detailed with my request so that they don't have to guess and I am not left disappointed. Why leave anything up to chance?
  8. Acetone for glue residue.

As people like to say when using the stuff, test a little bit of it in an inconspicuous area - bottom hem, inside the jersey - to be sure you won't get any color change. I've never had an issue with it on ultrafil. Immediately after I use it, I hand-wash the area with some detergent or mild liquid dish soap and then just be sure to flood the fabric with water to remove all of the remaining chemical and soap. If it was a really big area, maybe throw in the washing machine. I typically just hand wash, then rinse well in the tub and then hang dry.
  9. The Want List

Anyone have an Edge 2.0 size 46 or 50 available for sale or trade of a 2016-2017 Pens home? Prefer 46.

I honestly never saw it until I saw your post. Even then I had to go back and actually search for it. hah!
  11. Nameplates Needed

Anyone have white Edge 2.0 material?

Oh wow, I like those perforated numbers!! Edmonton really has a sharp look lately.
  13. In-hand reviews of the new Adizero Indo Jersey

I thought the Pens jerseys looked surprisingly good, considering how down all of us were on them before even seeing them in person to judge. I'd definitely go the blank route, though. They had a rack of team issued practice jerseys right next to the IndoZero jerseys, and the fabric was pretty close. The big let down was definitely in the customization. I didn't know it at the time, but apparently at least some teams are using smaller crests on the smaller sizes? I have to stop back at the team shop again this week anyways, so I'll do a better comparison of the practice and IndoZero and get back to you.
  14. In-hand reviews of the new Adizero Indo Jersey

I was pleasantly surprised, but I'll say likely not surprised enough to buy one unless the place I can buy them at for a discount has blanks. If the on-ice models become available though...I'll likely be all over it. I REALLY like the dimpling up on the shoulders. Such a cool detail - and I love how it translates onto their other apparel items like the hats and jackets.
