Since the Devils crew is out in full force, now might be a good time to share what came in yesterday..."2012-13" Mackenzie Blackwood Barrie Colts. I put the year in quotes because this jersey was actually a 09-10 Mavric Parks jersey, recycled (and Mem Cup patch added by the team) to accommodate Blackwood's call-up to serve as back-up late in the 2012-13 regular season and playoffs. It shows a ton of wear and many repairs, but most likely, majority came from when Parks wore it.

I wanted to do the same thing to get a Knight Zadorov #65 jersey to add to my Sabres collection. So, i ended up buying a Jacob Jammes #95 gamer off of eBay, stripped the nameplate off (but kept it), as well as the 9's from the sleeves and back. I ended up sending the jersey and 9's to EPS and had them make a Zadorov nameplate, which they attached and re-attached the 9's as 6's. It came back beautiful... And then he was traded to the Avs in the O'Reilly deal, so i ended up selling it on eBay as an Authentic/Team Issued jersey customized as Zadorov, and gave the full explanation in my listing.

Re-focusing my collection to just Sabres, Amerks and Sabres prospects, my latest pickup was made in-person at the final day of Sabres Dev Camp. I traded my Todd White Thrashers 3rd for this 2014-2015 Matt Ellis away jersey. Great wear and easy to photomatch!

Unfortunately, they didn't use twill, as I had hoped. They used edge material. I even included the one that I stripped for reference. The ones on the gamers actually had rounded corners, which the one they made me doesn't. Oh well, after waiting nearly 4 months, I'll take it.

After just under 4 months of waiting, I finally received the following back from EPS... Zemgus Girgensons Dubuque Fighting Saints (This one is a gamer that originally had #27 on it, and the nameplate and fight strap were removed by the team). Nikita Zadorov London Knights (This one was originally a Jacob Jammes #95 gamer. I had EPS flip the 9's to 6's and create/add the nameplate).

I actually did a Google search for "Pysyk Oil Kings Jersey" and looked through the image results. I found an image that looked like it was part of someone's collection, so I clicked and it took me to a guy's website. Luckily, the site had his email address noted, so I took a shot and emailed him about it. At first, he wasn't interested in selling it, so I told him that if he ever changed his mind, to let me know. A week later, he reached out and decided to sell it to me. Turns out, he's a member of the gameworn.net forum, and a great guy, in general.
