  1. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NHL-JERSEY-/321421445675?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item4ad6360a2b Hey guys, I've been looking for a few Ducks replicas and one that's been on my list is a Koivu alternate. I found one that was newly-listed on eBay for a decent price. I collect Premiers and am looking for them to be accurate. So, as far as questions about this particular jersey, it looks real but I don't want to buy any fakes. I want all my jerseys to be 100% real and official. I feel pretty confident it's real but what do you guys think? Second, I want it in a men's and it says it is. Is this a men's jersey? Third, can anyone tell if the customization is accurate with Anaheim's customizer? I'm not quite sure who does their customization off the top of my head (I know there's a thread for this) but does the customization on this jersey look accurate? I'm not as good as some of you may be with capturing all the details so I'd like to know if the customization matches team guidelines. I'm very picky and want to make sure I'm getting something absolutely real, it's in a men's size, and the customization is all correct. What do you guys think? For a person who finds it more affordable to get the Premiers, this one is a jersey I've been looking for and seems new even if it doesn't look to have the tags. The price is decent and I wouldn't have to buy a blank and customize it on my own if it's correct.
  2. Good point. However, what do you mean by right model? You mean vector/wordmark? This is kind of what I was looking for. Are we assuming the second picture is 11-12 and beyond? The purpose of this question was basically to pinpoint what the tags should look like for each season, if they differed at all. You said that did slightly so I'd still like someone to confirm what the tags for each season (or seasons if they don't change every single year) should be. Or, if you guys say the tags don't matter at all, maybe I can be satisfied. Also, where should a Premier neck tag say the jersey was made? Just Indonesia? Or were they made in other places in earlier seasons? A lot of the jerseys I see sold today say Made In Indonesia but I'm not positive of ones from 07-08, 08-09, etc. which were a number of years ago.
  3. While I do understand what you are trying to say, Replicas are officially licensed and aren't fake counterfeits, no? They are simply the "replica" of what the players wear on ice, a more affordable option for some. I'm not asking to be accurate to Authentics or gamers; if I was I'd be buying those if I could afford them. I'm just asking for a timeline for the Premier jersey. While they aren't authentic, they can't be on-ice accurate, I get that. But they can still be accurate, in the criteria of a Premier. Just because the Replicas are simply that, replicas, why can't they be accurate in terms of a correctly customized Replica jersey?
  4. I guess what I'm asking is when making a collection, what do you look for as far as the neck tags to identify that the jersey matches when the player played for the team, if anything? By looking at a vector Ducks home jersey neck tag, is there any way to tell "this jersey is from 07-08 so it matches when Pronger played there" or am I reading too far into this and the tags not matter as long as the jersey matches what the player wore? Again, I'm looking for answers solely about the Premier ones, not the Edge jerseys.
  5. Hey guys, I just have a small question in regards to NHL Premier jerseys that Reebok started making in 07-08. Do tags on the Reebok jerseys differ from season-to-season for the Premier jerseys? For example, I am starting a collection of Premier jerseys (I know most of you collect authentics but I'm asking about the replicas here). The jersey I'm looking to get is an 07-08 Anaheim Ducks Chris Pronger Premier home jersey complete with the "C" patch. I plan on buying all blank jerseys and sending them in to each team's customizer to get it customized with my desired player name and number. Now, in regards to purchasing the jersey, what should the neck tag say for an 07-08 Ducks home jersey? Where should it say the jersey was made? Should it say the size in regards to numbers or S, M, L, etc.? Does information on the tag change from season to season or does it stay the same, where I'd be okay just buying a Ducks home jersey as long as it matched with the Reebok vector? I want these to be 100% accurate so if the neck tags matter, please tell me any differences I should know about. Also, why do some Reebok jerseys I've seen have CCM tags inside the neck? I always have wondered about this as well, since I thought CCM and Reebok were different companies and I thought CCM's name wouldn't be on anything past 06-07, which was the last season they did NHL jerseys. Some of the Reebok era jerseys I see have the CCM tags inside the neck and others don't. Why is this was the CCM tag only on the Reebok jerseys for specific years? Sorry if it sounds confusing, hopefully I can get some answers. I'm OCD when it comes to my jerseys and want them to be 100% precise and accurate, so let me know how far into the tags I should read into. Maybe the tags are the same year after year, for every team, and I'm just making this a big deal for nothing. Basically I'm looking for a timeline for what jersey tags should look like starting in 07-08 to present, if you will.
  6. So you think it's quite possible it was customized through who the Sabres use? I'll have to go and ask for sure I suppose.
  7. Hey guys, does anyone know if a team's store (the arena store or the team's online store/NHL.com) use the same customizer that the team uses for their jersey customization? For instance, I recently bought one of the new Sabres third jerseys, the Premier version. I chose to get Matt Moulson. I bought it right after a Sabres game at one of the stores inside First Niagara Center. I plan on buying all blank jerseys for my collection and having them sent out to the customizer each team uses for their actual on-ice jerseys. Since I bought my Moulson jersey at the arena, do you guys think it was customized by whoever does the Sabres' jerseys for the team? I'm worried my Moulson may not be 100% accurate since I didn't send it to the team's actual customizer but I'd think it would be accurate if it was being sold right at the arena. Also, I bought a Briere jersey there years ago when it was still HSBC, the black and red goat one, so I guess my question includes that jersey as well. Just hoping these two I picked up there are accurate. What about NHL.com or the team's online store? Do they use the team customizers for theirs?
  8. I tried to look at Caps Jerseys and it doesn't really show anything from the Reebok era. It all seems to be pre-04-05 lockout. Any ideas of anywhere else I can see the neck tags by the year from 07-08 to present?
  9. Ah, so the last season those jerseys were used was 06-07? They weren't ever used in 07-08 and beyond?
  10. Aren't Premiers made in Indonesia as well? I think I've seen them in stores and the tag inside the neck says "Made In Indonesia" with the size S, M, L, etc. Starting in 07-08 all the way to present, where are Premiers made? I vaguely remember seeing Premiers with a CCM tag in the neck as well and always wondered why, as CCM's last season was 06-07. Why would a CCM tag be in a Reebok jersey? Basically, my last question is, in regards to Premiers, starting in 07-08, what should the tag inside the neck say? Were they always made in Indonesia since Reebok took over? Why do some of the Reebok jerseys from 07-08 and beyond have CCM tags in them?
  11. What about the Indo-Edge jerseys? Are those specifically a type of Authentic (Edge) jersey as well? Those sound like something I shouldn't have to worry about either since I'm collecting Premiers.
  12. I'm asking because I'm not familiar and new to jersey collecting but what is a 6100 jersey? Is it a type of Authentic (Edge) jersey?
  13. So since I'm collecting Premiers, I don't even have to worry about 1.0's or 2.0's? It sounds from what I've heard that you only have to worry about those if you are collecting Authentic (Edge) jerseys.
  14. I know my Crosby is an older vector one, so that matches correctly. The Sekera ones for sale are wordmark ones, so McNabb's name should be fine. So all in all, the jerseys fall into more of a range and not a specific pin-pointed year? I just didn't want to convert the Sekera into a McNabb and eventually discover some tag on the jersey telling me the jersey was made for 12-13 and then I'd have an incorrect McNabb jersey, as he was #81 last season. Obviously if the team releases new jerseys in a different year, they change but from what you all are saying, if a team wears the same jersey a few years in a row and doesn't change it, you can use it as a jersey for any of those seasons it fell under. There's no tag or any actual way of declaring it made for one specific season.
  15. So if I'm collecting Premiers (which I am), I don't even have to worry about different types of Premier jerseys? There's just one type and that's it? I don't have to worry about 1.0's, 2.0's, or these Indonesian-made jerseys?
