  1. Selling some jerseys, pics are all in the Imgur albums with some notes as well. Not super interested in trades, but worst I can do is say no. http://imgur.com/a/MFN1r
  2. To the top, sold the Islanders Goalie Cut, but still some good stuff. Throw some offers out, I don't bite.

    Nike size 48

My Nike size 48 fits in the body like a L/XL, but the agree with the above statement, the sleeves are a bit awkwardly shaped or a bit short.
  4. I found it at a thrift store in the Philadelphia area, and just bought it for the novelty. It's pretty cool, but I have no vested interest in any AFL teams. As for the Islanders jersey, I currently have an offer of 50 bucks sitting in my inbox through eBay. I am going to decline it, and wait that out, but outside of eBay, I could do 60 plus shipping. USPS says it's not prohibitively expensive to ship to HI for me, same pricing as Cali. If you want to make a deal, I would ask for 60+12.35 (Medium Flat Rate Shipping) and I would go to the post office to send it regular Priority with tracking, if it is less, then I would refund you the difference in shipping. Let me know what you think.
  5. I have listed some of my jerseys on eBay. Please note, some of the prices are very wishful, please don't hesitate to contact me to see if we can work out a deal. http://www.ebay.com/usr/flountown
  6. Speaking of the Expo, I ended up with an Islanders 60G, , are we going to set up a trade post like we have in the past?
  7. I don't really follow much AHL, so essentially, everyone of the teams wore that jersey or an opposite version for a game? I was going to say, as much as I like Oliver, I didn't expect him to be an AHL All-Star. Perhaps I should read up on man-crushes more often...
  8. Is that Lauridsen an All-Star? Also, nice Lindros alumni, I am looking to grab a couple of low value 2.0's if I get this next job and do some similar projects, maybe a LeClair and we can have a super moment playing street hockey where you pass me the puck and I tap it in after a decade of not having played hockey together, MAGICAL! Also, if you ever want to flip the Lauridsen in the future for a few bucks, let me know, I have a man crush on the 6'7" giant who could eventually step into the Flyers line up...
  9. Yes, they get to go straight to the group stage unlike the 4th EPL team that normally has qualifiers. On a positive for you the Chelsea win knocked Spurs out of next years competition as they had finished 4th and Chelsea takes their place. While it is nice to see misfortune befall Tottenham, I would much rather Chelsea get bumped. I have a friend who is an obnoxious Ranger, Yankee, Cowboys, Chelsea fan and anytime sports are disappointing for him, it is all the better for me...he can be a real annoying ###### sometimes...
  10. This might be a dumb question, but I would guess they get an automatic bid to be back in the CL next year, regardless of their EPL finish? Also, Chelsea sucks, GO GUNNERS!
  11. Is Ultrafil or Durene still even manufactured by anyone, and if so, how hard would it be to replicate? I just think it's a bit silly that all we have for throwbacks seems to be wool or mesh, when there are some really cool jerseys that would be awesome in a reproduced Durene fabric...
  12. I would say go ahead and have it sewn down if there is remnants or clues that it was sewn down before. Most people want their game worn jerseys to be as they were on the ice, not just how you happened to receive them from the team.
  13. Just leaving this here for posterity, I am still extremely excited about it...

    Ebay 2.0

Yeah, I set up a snipe bid at a kind of lowball amount. I wanted it, but there was just no way I could really pay what it's actually worth with a trip to Vegas coming up...
  15. The Flyers' regular customizers did their jerseys. Next time I am in PLA I'll try to ask who customized the Rangers jerseys, as they tracked down whomever did them. But I won't be back for at the very least 10 days or so...

    Ebay 2.0

Did anyone here win this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120905490512 If so, contact me, I am trying to trade down in size and have a 56 already customized with Pronger, willing to work out a deal in the rare instance that maybe you prefer a larger jersey and wanted to make this one a Pronger...
  17. I am fairly certain it is the one worn in the last Flyers game at the Spectrum, and the Flyers/Phantoms scrimmage. I will definitely check back in a little while as I have a few more jerseys I will be entrusting them with. They are a few bucks more than some other places, but I trust that they want everything done correctly.
  18. So as I alluded to in the arrived thread, Pro League Authentics mentioned to me that they are trying to recreate the proper Spectrum patch, and he said they might get them as soon as next week, count me in if they are anywhere near looking like the game worn ones...
  19. Just got back from the Phillies tonight and used the trip to the city to pick up two jerseys from Pro League Authentics, I have been wanting to make for quite a while, one is not hockey related but such a dream project of mine that I had to share...also, Flyers fans, check the patch thread for an interesting project that PLA is working on... First up, a team issued Flyers' Edge 1.0 away jersey customized as Claude Giroux's rookie debut: And second and one I am way more pumped about, as it is likely a one of a kind, properly authentic, reproduction of the jersey Roy Halladay wore as he pitched a perfect game. Jersey itself was bought as a blank 2010 team issue with authentic Robin Roberts '36' patch which is the true defining feature that makes the jersey really unique:
  20. The ones that they made for the Flyers were always all screen printed and such. Not good quality jerseys.
  21. I am sure there is some moderator who is a Flyers fan, abuse that power, threaten to ban unless the information is divulged.
  22. Seriously though, where did that Flyers 2.0 come from?
  23. We need to find out who creates the patches for the Flyers, I imagine for events like this, they have a local company just do them, and only bring in National Emblem or similar companies for patches they plan to retail. Does anyone here know Derek Setylmyre? I have met him once before but if anyone has an organizational connection, I'd love to find out what local embroidery shop creates the on-ice patches in low quantities.
  24. Whole website is fake jerseys. If you ever see the word wholesale, chances are it's china-crap.
  25. I don't know if that is the one worn in the game though, below is the best picture I can find at the moment, and it looks like it has a bit more text.
