  1. Hey, now. The Swedish Chef is never not funny, and having the images saved is required for the merit badge in Time Wasting. Be prepared!
  2. Seven is where I hit a wall, too. It may as well be calisthenics. Down! arrange jersey... Up! frame picture... Down! flatten jersey... Up! check camera... Down! straighten sleeve... Up! take picture... Down! flip jersey...
  3. That's basically what I wanted to type. Just look at the Ducks one, all lumpy and misshapen. Gross.
  4. Blast. No current road jerseys. Or maybe I missed them.
  5. If you can't tell in the picture, call and ask. I see at least one 1.0 (red Reitz)
  6. You have 16 player collections...
  7. I don't keep count, either, but probably around 60 hockey and 20 other sports. I've always been a collector, it's just a matter of what. 13 years or so on jerseys.
  8. Decided it might be time to add a 92-99 Tampa jersey or two. I'm interested mostly in the paintbrush and italicized 93-94 fonts, or blanks.

I always loved that line because it was so... high school. All of those dudes like Fabolous show up with their closets full of Mitchell and Ness, and Jay pulls out the "Oh, you're still wearing jerseys? Yeah, we're off that." C'mon, man. You did the video for Izzo, like, last year. I know that Knicks you wore is still in your closet.

And I don't wear jerseys, I'm thirty plus Give me a crisp pair of jeans.... button up Quiet, Hov
  11. I did this today, actually. I just enclosed a sheet with my contact info that said "2016 Stadium Series jersey - Seabrook/7, alternate A, Edge nameplate". They'll call you when it's done. My last order with them took about 3 weeks. Careful with the 90's fonts, though, as evidenced by the "Should I send this back to CSL" thread this week.
  12. The front body panel in the second pic. Airknit = 2.0, that other stuff = 1.0.
  13. I will not countenance an intentional jersey foul like that. Canada #30.
  14. They did the opposite for me recently. Default was air knit, charged extra for edge. The team uses air knit? Didn't know that.
  15. Wow, I really like how the 88 looks on the SS jersey.
  16. Wait, the correct way to do these is for all of the stitching on the red layer to be purely decorative, with the red and white layers just heat pressed together? I would not have expected that.
  17. I had read that Crosby likes his hemmed like a 6100. I guess that's what the team does for his.
  18. The Q has some of the best, for sure. I wear my Remparts and Oceanic all the time. Phoenix is on the shopping list.
  19. I think I'm going to like the numbers.
  20. This has to be one of my favorite sports logos ever. I was a little apprehensive about the sublimated numbers, but I don't mind it. Makes it a light wear. Not a new jersey, but I added the patch, so here it is.

I guess that's the safe thing to do. Is shill bidding really that prevalent? In my experience as a seller, non-payment is pretty common.

I would just offer to pay my highest bid. If you bid it, you were willing to pay that much for it. I wouldn't feel right using the winner's bad behavior as a lever for getting a better deal.
  23. That's a good way to put it. (And that humans are insane. Also a good point.) I just can't see the sense in the argument that a jersey card derives its value from the scarcity/desirability of the jersey used to create it, but the creation of the card is only possible through the destruction of the jersey. Aside from religious relics, which is a different brand of craziness, I can't think of any collectible where the value survives the destruction of the object. I'm sure there's something I'm not thinking of.
  24. I've never understood why a scrap of chopped up jersey has any collectible value whatsoever. Do the same thing to toys, coins, stamps, furniture, art, whatever, and you've ruined it. I wouldn't pay a nickel for one of those cards.
