    Protoype Jerseys

No kidding. I generally try to stay away from anything that wasn't an on-ice version (repros, prototypes, tagging variations), but off the top of my head, the white Preds prototype was tempting. I liked that one.
  2. Fixed that for ya Yeah! He had a great couple years with the Ams. But I fully admit that my main reason for picking him was that it would just look cool. No idea! I even had to look up what "frieze" meant for carpet.
  3. Nice pickups, DithyK. I'd love one of those USAs, but seems like they're always big sizes. Got a little bit of everything from Keener today.
  4. You *should* get an email soon. Their invoices say pay before work begins, but I don't get the impression that they enforce that. I usually just pay their PayPal address, but a couple times I've called and paid with my credit card. Both work.
  5. Probably not as much as you hope it would. Nice jersey though. 😁
  6. A while back I was trying to find a plate for a jersey that was the same red as the Wild use. If memory serves, I learned it was called "Montreal red," despite not being the same red that, you know, Montreal uses. I asked a couple customizers about it and they said they never trust the marketing name for a fabric color. So I guess my recommendation would be to neither purchase nor rule out a plate based on the marketing color name. If the seller knows what red the Wolves use, and would use a "Cardinal red" plate for it, hopefully you'll be ok.
  7. Gotta be quick with the pause button to see details, but that was a cool video. Looking forward to seeing my team's in person. I'm already looking forward to next spring's team sale. 😅
  8. I hate that I love the Blues' jerseys so much. Nice Roadrunners! That turned out great!
  9. I had to prompt them to send an invoice after not hearing anything for a couple weeks after it got to them from the broker. Then I got my shipping notice ten days later.

    eBay version 4.0

True, by now that ship has sailed with respect to eBay. Wasn't really thinking with that comment. There was a period where retailers could refuse, but iirc the Supreme Court killed that last year. About all that's left are smaller retailers that are currently under the radar. That won't last either. I do think it's pretty bogus that used goods can be subject to sales/use tax, but that's another argument... that the consumer lost a long time ago.

    eBay version 4.0

Heh, welcome to the club! Now that they have the system in place, I'd wager that all ebay buyers will be paying sales tax soon. I'm certainly buying less on ebay now that they're collecting sales tax. I know I don't matter to ebay as an individual customer, but you know, maybe they're listening.

    eBay version 4.0

Yeah, it's basically the definition of a state-to-state issue. There are several ways it's been enacted. This may not be current, but here's a list of them: https://smallbiztrends.com/2019/01/list-of-states-with-internet-sales-tax.html Prior to the paypal split, for me ebay purchases resulted in two PP receipts - one to the seller and one to an ebay sales tax collection account.
  13. I had a question about the shipping broker and ended up on the phone with Jason. We talked about this plan of theirs, and I made this point - that I understand the big orders keep the lights on, and that I don't mind waiting. Sounded like they would rather do it this way than operate the way EPS does. I guess I can respect that.
  14. I always recommend Keener over EPS (except for EPS teams of course), but yeah, this could basically be a banner at the top of the board.

    eBay version 4.0

It wasn't clear to me why they added that feature, but this explanation makes sense. Part of why I didn't understand it was that I've often seen it on items with high starting bids (that then end with no bids, so I know I'm not the only one who thought it was overpriced).
  16. 😂 Pretty much. I folded mine twice to fit it in the baggie, and only the top left with the address was visible.
  17. Yeah, I sent a group worth considerably more than I would have declared. Never gotten nailed on my "valuation", but of anyone, a bored Canadian would be the one to do it. 😅
  18. I used the customs brokerage on the order I sent a few weeks ago. Went fine I guess. It was no quicker or cheaper, but at least I didn't have to worry about customs charges.
  19. Ooh. That Canes is unfortunate. I liked the contrast shoulder roads much better.
  20. Huh, I talked to Jason a couple weeks ago, and he didn't say six months, more like 2-3.
  21. This is true. Even if I could do my own sewing and it saved some wait time, I probably would not just order loose kits from them. Their sewing quality is uniformly excellent, in my experience.
  22. Bring back the goat! I miss it already.
