I have a set of thin hem home Flyers jerseys which I made up to commemorative the initial formation of the legion of doom line on February 9th 1995 My question is did they Flyers use fat hem jerseys for that part of the season?? I don't think they did, but if anyone has links to photos/video from that game I would appreciate it

Interesting way to look at it. I have never thought of it that way! Pretty good idea to be honest. I would rather eliminate broadcast ads in favour of in-game advertising (advertising is a beast you will never get rid of) Now the elephant in the room.......how do we get our hands on those advert patches for accuracy??

That is bulls***. Never saw the draw about owning a swatch of a game jersey. Even worse is that in my travels on Ebay I saw cards with effing neck tags (like the Center Ice Collection tag, for example) from player jerseys, even though gamers did not have those tags commonly. This seems to contribute to the theory that the card companies just have the players put on any random jersey and then cut it up and put "player worn" on the back, even if not worn in actual gameplay.

Can anyone suggest good sites for researching photomatches other than the obvious getty images. Trying to find a match for a jersey worn in warmups, so the amount of photos out there will probably be limited, but worth a shot.

If anything, the HHOF patches would make for a nicer looking quilt than the NJ 10th anniversary patches

Wow, well done!!! That style jersey really pops! I wish I could ever afford a rookie jersey from my favourite players, that that won't be on the books unless a windfall happens. I am sure that is going to stay in your collection for a long while
