  1. Yeah I'm wracking em up baby! WOO!! Although hopefully I start seeing more whites come up, maybe it's just the timing but the burgundys are coming along faster. There are two that are rediculously over priced on Ebay for 275... lol and all the other ones that are over priced and completed incorrectly me off a little bit everytime I see them. What a waste GRRRRRRRRRRR!
  2. This is from a blog that details a lot of stuff about the 95 jerseys and differences from later years. Joel actually showed this to me, so only a matter of time before he posted it probably. http://anyonebutdetroit.com/2011-articles/august/avs-jersey-post-1995-96.html I've actually got two 1995-96 Burgundys that I'm going to get customized as well (Sizes 52 & 48), one will be a Forsberg, and the other I haven't decided yet between Sakic, Roy, and Foote. (All the Retired numbers that were on the 1995-96 team) I'm actually planning on doing all four in home and away 1995-96 Authentic Starter mesh. When I can find the blanks obviously lol. Keener, do you think it matters which size? Would my 52 be easier to do the Forsberg in since the name is longer? Or maybe I should do the 52 in the Sakic or Foote because there would probably be more room for the letter? And last but not least, is your 1995-96 Sakic a gamer? Where did you get the smaller crest if it's not? That's the last detail that bothers me, the crest being turned counter clockwise and bigger on the Authentics vs gamers.
  3. Thanks Jay, I would of never thought of that!
  4. Interesting, I appreciate the insight. I'm guessing the game/team issued overstock jerseys are not worn though right? Unfortunately that does not explain the game worn marks on it. I've tried looking through some photos, but Getty actually has a limited amount of Hejduk pictures from 01-02 to 04-05 up online. I contacted the guy that sold it to me, and hes trying to get ahold of the person that sold it to them. The guy did tell them it was game worn, hersay obviously. But this being as difficult as it is, almost makes it more interesting to me.
  5. Real or fake? From what I can see of the fight strap it looks suspect... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251321279032
  6. Nope, and from what I can tell the curve on the name is either perfect or close to it as well, which is usually really hard to duplicate when it comes to customization. Unless you actually have Denver Athletic do it. Everything is zig zag stitched, nothing weird either like the name sewn through the name plate or inconsistent thickness in the number layers. (Ususal failed custom stuff..) The sizing tag placment and type matches game issued jerseys, as well as the actual size of the jersey matching what hes worn since hes been in the league. If it was customized it was done perfectly that's all I can say. Everything seems to match a game worn jersey except the fact that there is no team tag or MeiGray tag, and there are two little pulls/snags pretty much exactly where the MeiGray tag would be (About 1 1/2 - 2 inches apart), and no other pulls or snags on the back edge of the jersey. (Couple on the front higher on the hem though) So it's either a game worn, or it's an authentic customized by Denver Athletic that someone decided to wear in a pickup game in Alabama (The guys address was from AL) lol. Edit : no indication that a retail tag was ever sewn in the jersey collar and pulled off either.
  7. Ahh, well the only thing that looks like possible signs of tagging is the two little snags that are about the with of the the MeiGray tags (Looks like around two inch spacing), but that's not much to go on as far as proof there was a tag either. There just isn't any other pulled threads on the back edge of the jersey besides those two. I posted a picture on the last page. Here is a photo with a nearly identical signature as well,
  8. Pretty sure it's not an 01 because there is no All-Star patch. And the size tagging is more consistent with 02-03 or 03-04 as well. Haven't seen anyone post one of those types of tags on a later year either.
  9. Nothing like that, only those two little puffy snags on the back hem in the picture. The only one who seems to have pictures old enough is Getty btw. Google didn't have much early 2000s stuff either.
  10. This is the only sign of tagging (Maybe), there is no other snags like this on the back half of the bottom of the jersey though. Perfectly spaced apart, but it's still not much seeing as how there isn't any other signs around it either. Bottom of the blue almost directly below the fight strap.
  11. Where is the best place to do that?
  12. Yeah I should probably PM him, it's deffinitely not a 2000-01, has to be 2001-02 to 2004-05 I think.
  13. I know quite a bit more about the Staters than I do CCM/KOHO as well, but it seems legit from what I can tell. But that's the main reason I posted it here, it does not have a MeiGray tag or anything else. And I can't find any 'team type' tagging pictures for the years that it would match up with either. The only pictures of 'game worn' tags for those years I can find are MeiGray tags. Maybe someone else has a gamer from that time frame that has a team tag in it? Or has at least seen one? It's obviously not a 2000-01 because it does not have an All-Star patch. So it's got to be 2001 through 2004 I think. 2002-03 Derek Morris http://www.gamewornauctions.net/products/2002_03_Derek_Morris_Colorado_Avalanche_Game_Worn_Jersey_Team_Letter-6930-155.html Same type of tagging...
  14. Just purchased this Hejduk KOHO listed for 135$, I offered 90$ + 15$ shipping and he took it... http://www.ebay.com/itm/121123834788?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 Now obvously the listing isn't very detailed and the guy usually sells cards, but I could at least tell it was a authentic from looking at the tail tag, and the fight strap stitching. I also noticed before buying it that you can't see the KOHO retail tage inside the collar, and I knew it should be butted right up against the collar material. I figured who knows maybe it was removed, no way this is a game issued/or prostock... I was able to match the signature fairly well to some other pictures of signatures that had COAs, it looked legit enough for me, as some of his old sigs were crude in his first couple years. All of the places where the ink is thicker, and places where he stops with a marker match up to other sigs as well. So best case I figured it was a game issued or prostock, worse case its a authentic with the retail tag removed. Either way it was a steal at $105.95 shipped. Here are the pictures after recieving it. There are lots more marks (Mostly on the lower half of the arms), but my phone camera has a really hard time picking up the black marks on the burgundy material. As you can see... or can't. Back Front Snag and burn mark just below the front collar, there are burn marks going down and to the right. Hard to see in the pictures though... Lower front mark on hem/piping Wash tag, It says 'USED UNDER LICENSE BY'... Fight Strap Signature It's a 56 also, which is the same size Hejduk has worn since day one. The cheapest game worn Hejduk on MeiGray is 695$ and that's for 09-10 and 07s.. The 1999-00 is 995$. The tagging is right, and the size is right, and it has game worn marks on it, everything else about the jersey is perfect. Looks like a undoccumented gamer to me. I'm not sure which year it is though. Anyone got recommendations on the best place to get signatures authenticated?
  15. Thanks man, I appreciate the info. As I figured then, but that helps for the future.
