  1. http://shop.nhl.com/Colorado_Avalanche_Jerseys/Mens_Colorado_Avalanche_Patrick_Roy_Mitchell_And_Ness_White_2000_-_01_Authentic_Home_Jersey It's a reproduction, so obviously it's got some details wrong. I already have a Sakic replica of this design, so I'll pass on this one. Regardless, I like to see these classic sweaters being acknowledged by and being available again by the NHL.
  2. Yeah. That's my only gripe, if any, I have with it. They looked beautiful on the ice, and I hope to get myself one sometimes. So...if it's a CCM vintage replica, why didn't they use the original's collar design? They did so with the CCM Mighty Ducks replica sold last season.
  3. Oh. Well while it has CCM branding, that's definitely an Edge collar, the same as the ones they'll be wearing tonight. The Ducks' Mighty Duck throwback replica has a pre-Edge collar.
  4. This one was just put up. http://shop.nhl.com/Arizona_Coyotes_Jerseys/Mens_Arizona_Coyotes_CCM_Black_Classic_Throwback_Jersey This is weird, though. It's an Edge cut, but with a CCM tail logo? And what's on the collar insert where the NHL logo is supposed to be? Either way, I'm gonna hold back on getting one until I can get a Reebok replica with a name/number on it. Also, it isn't supposed ship until next Friday.
  5. I found this out a while ago. I'm very happy to see that they kept the old jersey in-tact. I'm definitely going to buy one. I have a Starter one just like that. I just want to get one in the Edge cut because the one I have now is blank, plus I'd like having the old jersey design made with the current materials. Still can't believed they kept it the same right down to the outdated wordmark on the shoulder patch. That jersey was a symbol of 90's sports design and is ultimately one of my favorites of all time. Happy to see it acknowledged again by the franchise. I mostly agree with the list. The 1989-1991/93 is my personal favorite. It's like, the ultimate NHL jersey, you could not make a more perfect design from the orange shield era NHL identity. The 2004 one was great in matching the host team's identity, but I think ASG jerseys should just be their own thing. It had a great vintage feel to it though. I also really love the 2000-2001 and 1994-1997 ones, and admittedly, this year's motorcross uniforms. The inaugural ones that were revived in '92 are pretty cool too. I want so many of these but it's hard as hell to find one within my budget, let alone one that isn't blank, autographed, and/or too big/small for me.
  6. So there's this site I found the other day? Not much to say, it pretty much speaks for itself...but what? Looks like the Anaheim will be selling throwbacks of pretty much every jersey (minus a few minor things like the Edge version of the 06-07s) they've ever worn (with Teemu's name on it) in honor of Teemu's retirement today. Like...kinda unexpected for them to go that far with this, but, that's kinda cool. If you want a special throwback version of the old jerseys or something I guess, might wanna try seeing when these are available. I'm especially looking at the Wild Wing and the two purple/teal 90's alternates, as those are especially rare. If they're actually making new ones, those will sell out pretty fast. And it'd be nice to see those jerseys come back into production.
  7. While not a beautiful masterpiece, I think they are a "modern" jersey done right...kinda. The only real gripe I have is the placement of the arm stripes. But they're hella unique, and I really like the design, and green's my favorite color so yeah. I'd prefer the numbers on the black jersey to be white, but oh well. Too bad these are going to be extremely expensive.

It's too late, it was already bought... A moment of silence for our fallen brothers...this injustice needs to end.

    It is good or not?

I didn't want to start a new thread, but does anyone here have any experience buying jerseys from ######'s? I wanted a white size M Stastny, but I'm sol because the NHL shop just ran out of that. ######'s (ugh... www.dickssportinggoods.com) has one, but unfortunately it may ship after Christmas. I'm fine with that, though, I just want it to be as good as I expect.
  11. I have two black Starter Yotes. Neither has the Goals for Kids patch. They're both replicas, so I have a pretty confident assumption that the patch is exclusive to authentics and gamers. Here's an auth with the patch.
  12. Nothing new yet. And I doubt they'll reveal the jersey and put it up on sale after the week before Christmas.
  13. I almost always have one on, I bring one to school nearly every day, and usually whenever I go out of the house. And always when I go to games.

Uh...the quality makes me suspicious... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-New-York-Islanders-Billy-Smith-1980s-CCM-Hockey-NHL-Jersey-Throwback-XXL-/321549033672?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item4addd0e0c8

If you're referring to the Penguin logo, that's what it looked like back then, even though this... ...appears on a lot of Pens merch, marketing stuff, etc. from back then. The other logo seems to be specific to the jerseys, if not a few other things as well. This logo is what the current primary and throwback logos are based off of (also the logo that was on the vintage throwback jersey they've been selling for a few years, even though it isn't accurate). I always get confused between this logo and the one actually worn on the jerseys back then. I kinda wish the latter was on the current alternate throwback, but it's just creating more confusion. I don't even know why they used two different alterations of the primary logo during that time either.
  16. I too prefer the Lindros era jerseys. They were slick. I really liked the black one. I also really love the logo that has the more-angular wings the Flyers started using in 1982 with the jerseys that pretty much made up the shape of the jerseys used until 2007. I don't know why they did that, but I think it's cool. Also makes it easier to tell the real modern jerseys from modern fakes.
  17. Oh, I forgot this. In August I went to Baltimore for a weekend-long convention. I decided to go to a game at Camden Yards on Saturday night. I had a hell of a time, but since I only brought hockey jerseys for that weekend, I went to the game wearing my blue/gold 90's Caps jersey. I got a couple "that's the wrong sport"s here and there. Didn't care that much. Can you describe what those are for me? I'm assuming you mean people who just cheer for the team just because, or like bandwagoners or something?
  18. I wouldn't say hassled, but on occasion, people who notice I wear many different jerseys ask (usually jokingly) why I don't like the team that I wore the previous time, it may not easily occur to them (without me telling them) that my favorite team is the Penguins. The same thing may happen if I wear a jersey supporting the road team to a game, or decide to wear a jersey for a team that is not even competing at a game (in which case, it may go into hassling territory). One big example of the former is when I went to a Caps/Jets game in early 2013. I was wearing the new Jets jersey (with my name and #24 on it, but that's irrelevant) I got recently, and I was hanging out outside of the seating area for a bit before the game. Someone came up to me, obviously a Caps fan, saying "This is America, we don't support Canadian teams here," or something of that sort. It was kind of awkward at first, but I love those kinds of interactions at games, it just makes me feel alive for whatever reason. Anyway, he then walked into the restrooms, but I myself just stood there. I don't believe I got any more negative reactions, not even when the Caps fans were cheering and running out of the arena when they won that game, which made them clinch a playoff spot. I myself love the Caps, as they are a local team, so I did not mind much that they won. Though, I loved Winnipeg much more back then, when they were fresh out of Atlanta.
  19. Meh, I'm just gonna say it's a placeholder and they haven't finished the final design yet, or showed it to those people yet.

I heard a few times that Koho's aren't faked. Also, beautiful choice.
