Bringing back from the dead... got a jersey with a signature that I wanted to remove since I'm not a signature person. Used a combination of Amodex and VLR. Worked out just fine! Thanks for the pointers. Now the rest of the jersey.... that's still a mess I'm trying to clean up

Sharks, Kings, Lightning, Panthers, and Blues got it right. Avs, Devils, Leafs, Ducks, and Bruins are also pretty good. I guess the Caps, Flames, Pens, Sabres, and Oilers followed the reverse retro concept but I feel like they’re a bit lazy or should have been used the first time around. Rangers, Wings, and Isles? *face palm* Lot of disappointments the second time around IMO

Stripped jerseys likely takes too much time for what they’re charging. Do it yourself. It’s not difficult. By loose kits, I’m assuming they mean you sending in a jersey with your own numbers and wanting them to simply sew them. Again, guessing they’d rather charge for the full customization or else it’s not worth it for them. So if you send them a blank jersey to customize, they will do it and that sounds like what you want (after you strip them). Given the current wait times, they don’t seem to be hurting for business

Nice! Are the Swift cuffs elastic now? Still not a fan of this version of the USA jerseys, but love the gamers

Only plus side is (so far) they’re the same color as the jerseys so they’re not as obnoxious as some of the helmet ads (looking at you PPG Pittsburgh)

Seeing as the Blackhawks haven’t released the last RR gamers (or any jerseys for the last two seasons) I’m not holding my breath. Lot of negative comments already about this concept, but I don’t hate it. True, the Hawks have never worn a wordmark, but the barberpoles are classics and it would be nice to have a jersey that reps the city

Some recent pickups and pseudo jersey fouls. Size 52 Toews 1K warmup jersey. I was bidding on the gamers, but put this together cheaper and it's smaller. Not a primegreen, but I did sew a PG tag on the rear hem so when wearing it, you'd have no idea. Unlike other teams, the Hawks crest/tomahawks stayed the same. The glitter name/numbers make this one kind of unique in my collection Sewed on another primegreen tag on this size 54 so I could add a Esposito patch. Have a DeBrincat in the old style collar with the Mikita patch, figured it deserved a twin.

Impossible not to love the Brodeur. How’d you go about deciding which ones to keep? I did a similar exercise 3-4 years ago going from roughly 100 to about 30. Think it’s crept back up to 45 or so now. Would love to get to 20-ish but have a real hard time figuring which ones to keep

The solution is simple. I want $X for the jersey. Doesn’t matter if it’s f&f or you cover the fees as long as I net $X. Since there’s no protection I could see someone being suspicious but there shouldn’t be any reason the seller wouldn’t allow the buyer to cover the fees and be okay with it.

Wow, what a find! Love this. There were a bunch of old stock from the last few years cleared out by Joe S late last season before the move to Prime Green. I picked up a few from him. Then there are the usual places like eBay, FB, and Reddit. The old contacts I had pre-Covid no longer have the connection so that’s a bummer as I used to be able to get TI jerseys dirt cheap

That’s where the *almost* comes from. Lol! The Hawks have changed their distribution model after the Covid bubble season and haven’t let out any gamers outside of warmup auctions. Unfortunately they also only wore one set of RRs. A lot of us are patiently waiting for those. But if you wanted any of their other jerseys (old collar, new collar, alt, practice, etc), they’ve been available so Mongoose saying he hasn’t gotten one is more of a personal choice since he could have bought them if he wanted

This should be a separate topic and not posted here, but ads what they are. I don’t like them, but I try to be accurate with my collection so I’ll put patches on my jerseys. If the NHL takes a page out of the NBA’s playbook, sponsor patches will be sold on jerseys (at least at the team store). Even AHL teams typically include sponsorship patches if you buy and customize a jersey through their team store. My big thing with jersey ads is that I hope they’re not like helmet ads that have been changing every season. THAT would be annoying. Regarding not being able to find on-ice authentic jerseys, for what team? Sure, they’re not as easy as simply going to JB, but almost every team’s jerseys (including alts and RR) have been available at one point or another though numerous sources since adidas took over. Some sizes may be harder to find than others, and jerseys may be more expensive, but to say you haven’t been able to get one in four years is clearly a personal choice

Yes. Mine is also a TI vector 2.0 which is why I considered throwing mine out there if someone is willing to pay close to a grand! Lol
