A size 56 Toews just sold on eBay for $900!! Made me consider selling my 52 for a split second

Not my favorite design, but not my least favorite either. As a whole uniform I think it would have been better with tan/brown pants and gloves but I do like the jerseys. Have always been a fan of unique felt patterns like they do and I think the Sabres have done too (with diamonds or triangles). I may sound negative but I do really like it! great pickup!

Funny, I was kicked out of a group a year or two ago for the same reason. Admin didn’t seem to care that people were selling knockoffs and didn’t understand why I was making a big deal out of it. I’m part of a few groups simply out of necessity. That’s the primary place Blackhawks gamers are sold. Or were sold. Team hasn’t released anything since the 19-20 season which is frustrating as all hell

Haven't picked up much in quite some time. Do have two projects that I'll be finishing up shortly, but in the meantime, I broke down and finally got of the gamers from the 19-20 Covid season. I just couldn't not add one of the masked set tags to my collection. Size 54, shortened and tightened cuffs, and a handful of sleeve repairs. Still trying to photo match set tags I was referring to

If anybody is still looking here… anyone have any luck/ideas on how to remove acetone stains? I stripped a jersey but there’s clearly some residue toward the outside of what I stripped. Tried rubbing it with more acetone and ran it through the wash twice. No luck

Funny, I was watching that Hawks jersey too, but planned on buying it solely for the crest/tummies. Figured those could be donors onto another blank small block jersey I have. But the price it went for? Crazy given the condition of the jersey and the fact it's not a small block

No, I'll be holding onto these. You can buy them directly from the Blackhawks store. Or at least you could a few weeks back. Price is $15 each (vs $10 for the old Mikita patch).

Just got a handful of Espo patches that the Hawks are wearing this season. Disappointed by the quality compared to the Mikita patches. I'll be curious to see if they go through a few versions of the patch because I know there were 3 slightly different versions of the Mikita patch. Regardless, the gamer patches this time around are actually closer to a cheap eBay Mikita patch that I picked up a long time ago. The background stitching of the patch itself is almost identical as is the stitching quality. No stitched surround to the number this time around. Here's a photo comparison of the two. Thought I'd share in case anyone was interested.

Don’t hate the Blues new WC jerseys as it’s basically what they wore in the 03-04 Vintage series jerseys. But if you think the construction of Indo vs on-ice shares ANY similarities, you’re smoking crack. They literally couldn’t be further away from each other. Hell, the way the stripes are sewn tighter is completely different. Exhibit A

Probably my final post on here before the forum gets shut down. Crazy to think I've had 5 or 6 of these things pass through my hands, but finally found a blank 54. It'll be done up as a Kane to replace the 56 I recently sold. And this was more for fun playing pond hockey, but also matches the new summer league team I joined so it'll get a little more wear
