    It arrived today v. 8.0

I actually wear an indo USA WCOH to play pickup in and like the underarm vents. They really make a difference in terms of breathability. Prefer TI 3.0 practice jerseys from a fit perspective, but they do run noticeably warmer I love ultrafil, but could not imagine playing in that material; it's thick, heavy, and warm. The opposite of what you'd want after you start sweating. Those jerseys had to be so heavy after soaking up a game's worth of sweat.

    The Patch Thread 2.0

Thanks dude! I'd have to think going to the store more than once would be possible, but who knows. I did hear that Hawksquarters is selling the patches as well, but charges $15 for shipping so that's automatically a no-go. Wish I wasn't in CA on the 28th as I'd love to go to that game. Did you see the retro shirts they're giving away!?!?

Well I say 54 because you rarely see gamers any smaller. I prefer 50. I've had both MIC 54 and 56 from Adidas and the 54 is close to the limits in terms of fit without pads for me.

Sorry, I was specifically referring to the Caps which are $250 on the low end. Wish they had a 54!

    Adidas NHL On Ice Jersey

Funny, as a kid in the 90's that wore clothes that were 10 sizes too big, I actually benefited from my childhood naivety. As an adult the 52's and 48's fit me exactly how they should! Prefer the overall fit of a 48, but the sleeve length of a 52. Back to Reebok vs Adidas sizing, I'm 5-10/5-11 175 and prefer the size of a 50. I have TI 54's and can wear them, but they're pretty big on me. 54 fit me perfectly when I play with pads in both Reebok and Adidas. 56 start to get too long in the torso for me which is probably what I like least about that size.

That photo makes the jersey look even worse. Agreed that if the numbers were there, at least it would break up the black. I'm not a fan of the numbers on the shoulders. One, because Adidas' shoulders are cut smaller than Reebok so they're too close to the neck and two, because it looks like a football jersey. As it stands, based on this photo, the jersey looks like a basketball jersey with sleeves that were added on at the last minute.

That’d be great. I’d like two if possible. Thank you!

Most likely! Oh man that USA jersey is niiiice! I had the white version of that when I was a kid. Love the older USA jerseys. Especially compared to the designs Nike puts out nowadays...

Big thanks to Gewargis for helping a brother out. Pretty sure I posted about him picking up a few jerseys at the Blackhawks convention a few days after I had shoulder surgery. Didn't get much, but did get a few practice jerseys that I stripped the nameplates off of and had redone by CSL with the player who wore that number during the regular season. Bickell Hammer Kaner Another Kaner that was a project jersey. Started off as a NWT Penguins in a hard to find size 54. Stripped the sponsorship patch and crest, sold those and made most of my money back from what I actually paid for the jersey. Got a stupid deal on an Indo-edge Hawks that I stripped the crest from and created this. It was actually quite a bit cheaper than what I paid for the other jerseys!

    Customizer's Current Wait Times Thread

Need to send out three more jerseys and was planning on sending them to EPS. Has anyone had jerseys cleaned by them? If so, any idea how much more that added on to the wait time?
  16. Last month I stripped a few jerseys to send off to CSL. One of the jerseys I stripped was a single layer ‘6’ so I sent in a blank practice jersey I play in to have them sew it on as a ‘9’. Then I started to think about my other practice jerseys. I have one with a really nice dual layer ‘9’ kit, but now it seems almost too nice to play in. Rather than sewing on proper dual layer numbers, I thought why not use the fake dual layer numbers that get put on premier/ indo-zero jerseys? Question is, where do I find them? Specifically looking for the Blackhawks block style for a white jersey (black with red outline) and a black jersey (white with red outline) and the white WCOH jersey style (perforated red with navy outline). *edit* by fake dual layer, I mean these

Messier’s son actually coaches leagues in DC. He coached me for the last year or so before I had shoulder surgery.

How To STRIP A JERSEY 101

Finally got around to trying to clean up the mess I posted earlier on this page. First pass cleaned up a LOT! Still got quite a ways to go including the sleeve numbers, but it's getting there. Not going to deal with the previous name as a nameplate will cover that up. Hands down the biggest strip project I've tackled.

How could they use the design for the heritage classic if they don’t own the rights?
  21. I sent a handful of Blackhawks jerseys into CSL to be customized, however they just called and let me know that they do not have anymore red edge nameplate material. They suggested air knit, but I was wondering if anyone here had some spare edge material lying around? Need kind of a long nameplate since this jersey was being done up as a Hjalmarsson. Cheers, Matt
  22. I mean, technically I have a few Caps practice jerseys that I could destroy, but I’d rather sell them. Of course, if I cut it up and could sell nameplates for $20 each I’d be way ahead of the game!
  23. Reached out to JB, waiting to hear back. Also reached out to EPS who said it would cost $30!!! That’s practically half of what an entire jersey customization costs!
  24. My brain was clearly off. Completely forgot about a number of online retailers
  25. 2.0 were sold at retail? Huh, didn't know that. Never once saw a 2.0 at a stadium or their respective team store (Hawks, Kings, Ducks, Caps)
