Sadly, a lot of people do it when you post a price. Also, even on ebay there are the "what's your best price" messages and you get offered $150 less "on your lowest price" (on a $250 jersey).
Steiner is not just game used though -- they have tons of athletes under exclusive contracts. I am sure Fanatics is looking to grow Fanatics Authentics / autographed memorabilia.
I (mildly) burned my jersey. Be careful to use a thicker shirt or towel when applying heat. I would recommend buying airknit and just doing a cover up.
I think the last time I ordered the kits, Josh told me it was $10 cheaper to do the kit. Then again, this was also 2+ years ago.
Also, I dont like that they charge to sew patches down, so you're adding an extra $6.50 per patch.
I like ordering kits over sending the jerseys in because the times Ive ordered only kits, the order has come in much quicker and I was able to bring it somewhere else to get sewn onto the jersey for cheaper than it would have been to pay for shipping both ways.
Game Day Archives / Truman was something. I asked him to send me pics of his Isles wave fonts and they were just brutal.
Edit: I know it sucks for Canadians who want to send jerseys to the US, but for the most part, the customization prices are generally the same regardless who you use. I think Cutting Edge is $65-85 for certain teams, EPS is the same. Stitches is $60. You might as well just send to the proper place.
Honestly, this is happening A LOT in the hobby, regardless of where people are from. I am also getting a lot of "will you trade" even though I explicitly say no trades in posts.
I think the new thing that irks me the most are people who agree to deals, then shop around for other jerseys before closing/sending payment for your sale.
Yup! I feel like I am getting grouchier every year, but it is the same thing
They definitely are making money, but in what other industry is it the norm to hold onto 10+ year inventory?
