  1. I'm a sucker for SC jerseys so my vote would be to go with the Kariya option. I picked up a home Kings jerseys a few months ago and I haven't been able to decide how I want to customize it. I have the 2012 SC patch but not sure if I want to go with Doughty or Kopitar. After Justin Williams' performances the last two games I'm starting to wonder if I should just go with 14...
  2. I managed to knock it down a bit but still ended up offering more than I would have liked. I haven't been able to find these anywhere. Even the replicas have become like hen's teeth. Thanks for the confirmation.
  3. That's bizarre. At least it'll be a good way to prove I'm not wearing a counterfeit since I doubt some shop in China would deliberately bend the sleeves like that! Thanks for the insights and pictures.
  4. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/251469895472?ssPageName=STRK:MEBOFFX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1427.l2649 I compared this to pictures of a game-worn Toews jersey from a link I found on this forum: http://www.gamewornauctions.net/products/2010_Jonathan_Toews_Team_Canada_Olympics_Game_Worn_Jersey_Vancouver_2010_Olympics_1st_Olympic_Jersey_Photo_Match_Team_Canada_Letter_Lot_Includes_Limited_Edition_Card_and_Olympic_Puck-4096-120.html It looks legit to me but I've been burned before on the Swift jerseys.
  5. Are the numbers heat pressed as well? In the pictures of the Toews game-worn from the link above, I can't make out the stitching on the numbers. This 2014 Luongo game-worn auctioned off by Hockey Canada doesn't look like the numbers have stitching either. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Roberto-Luongo-GAME-WORN-Team-Canada-Hockey-Jersey-/151231769638?nma=true&si=r54%252F9ZX1X6M54arFNZIbADgOOl0%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 It's a little difficult to tell though since these photos aren't super hi-res.
  6. I wear a 46 in the Edge 2.0 (I think they fit a bit smaller than the Edge 1.0) so that would be roughly about a size 52 in the Swift then. I'm not familiar with the fit of the 6100s. They're "boxier" in the body and have a baggier fit in the sleeves right? What did you find odd about the sleeves on the Swift? I have a replica of the 2014 IIHF jerseys and the sleeves are tapered to the point where they almost feel like a regular sweatshirt. Is the authentic cut the same way?
  7. Sorry to dig up an old thread, but does anyone have a size chart for the 2010 Nike Swift IIHF jerseys? I'd like to see some sort of measurements to compare them to Reebok Edge 2.0 sizes. Edit: I forgot to mention that I'm looking to do a size comparison of the Nike Swift authentics, not the replicas.
  8. I was going to take a picture but the more I look at it the worse it gets. The stitching just looks all wrong and the colours of the maple leaf crest are completely off. I guess I was hoping I might have found a steal but I just realized the guy has four of the same listing for this jersey. Given how hard it is to still find the 2010 jerseys, this one's obviously a fake. It sucks because I can't find the one I bought back in 2010 and it's proving impossible to find a replacement. Thanks guys.
  9. I just received a 2010 Team Canada Doughty jersey that I ordered off ebay and I'm about 99% sure it's fake but I'm hoping to confirm my suspicions before I return it. The jersey I received has a medium "M" size tag but still has a fight strap. I know Reebok authentic jerseys use numeric size tags but can someone please confirm that authentic Nike Team Canada jerseys in 2010 also used numeric sizing?
  10. That's not a bad idea. I might just try that - thanks.
  11. I'm thinking about getting a Kings blank to customize as a Doughty but I live in Canada and I'm not sure how much trouble it would be to send it across the border. I figure if I send it to Great Plains Cresting here in Calgary with reference photos for them to use, they should be able to get it right. At the very least I'd be able to bring it back easily to fix if they get it wrong.
  12. I've read quite a few posts on these forums suggesting the best way to ensure a properly customized jersey is to buy it blank and get it sent to a team customizer. I'm just curious - how many of you actually send your jerseys to the "official" team customizer if you don't live in that city? I assume all the official team customizers would have the equipment and skills to customize other teams' jerseys but lack of the proper materials and/or knowledge of exactly what their jerseys should look like might be a problem.
