  1. That time between you hitting BIN and it actually shipping is stressful. Just another reason why everyone hates eBay.
  2. There’s a special place in hell for sellers like that.
  3. Also, regarding the retail neck tags, the Winter Classic I posted isn't the first jersey to have them. There were TI Avalanche Stadium Series that had the retail tags and a couple of Blackhawk blanks.
  4. I've heard Hangar (Stars' team store) sells TI blanks of the home and aways, however I'm not aware of them ever selling the Winter Classics (I imagine those when have been quite popular had they and we all would have heard about it). They currently have the practice jerseys from the Winter Classic on their site: https://hangarhockey.com/game-used/winter-classic/ However, that $330 price point is inconsistent with what the practice jerseys are sold at - I feel like it came from somewhere else. After I have it in my hands, I'm going to ask the seller where he got it from. I also find it interesting that the Jets sell their TI blanks. They used to have them on their website, however randomly took them down. You can still buy them by contacting their game used program. I wonder if Adidas asked them to take them down.
  5. I think JB tried to the get the Adidas jerseys and from what I heard they just wouldn't sell them to him. And I guess since this one has shipped, it's okay to show off now - someone tipped me off to this MIC Dallas Stars Winter Classic goalie. Grabbed it an absolute steal of a price: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Adidas-Dallas-Stars-Winter-Classic-2020-Jersey-Hockey-Stanley-Cup-Size-58-G-New/254727752712?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 Take a look at the second image - there is a MRSP on it of $330. I have no idea what the back story is on it, but maybe @HannuVirta can shed some light.
  6. I would definitely be interested in one (any estimate of a price?)
  7. I can’t get pictures until this weekend, but I definitely noticed the dimples on my AreTnas MIC (worn December 2017) vs. my Golden Knights MIC manufactured after the 2017/2018 season. The depth just appears much different on the newer Adidas jerseys.
  8. ^Not near my collection right now so I can't compare that specifically. However, that isn't the only suspected change that occurred after the 2017-18 jerseys. If you compare a 2017-18 to anything from 2018-19+, those dimples on the shoulders are significantly deeper than on the 2017-18.
  9. I always say, the jersey collecting is already a very small niche. Now the people who actually care about what the players where is a fraction of that. There’s just not enough demand. I just don’t think the extra effort and manufacturing is material enough to anyone’s bottom line.
  10. This what I think is most likely. They knew from the EDGE 2.0 days that it wasn’t worth it. And any additional revenue/profits were marginal at best.
  11. This is what I wish. The Jets have done it (while the price tag is high at $450CAD, it's still an option). They aren't advertised publicly on their website, so you have to email directly (likely so Adidas doesn't know). Only reason I can think team stores don't sell them is because they they can't order extra/Adidas won't allow (which points more than likely to production capacity).
  12. Honestly, I have my doubts we ever see them and if we do, it'll be towards the end of the contract when there is probably a bunch of extra overstock. I just don't think it's worth selling them financially for any additional profit they may receive (which is probably minimal for the additional extra effort). Adidas probably knew from Reebok having the contract what kind of margins and sales data they were working with. The MICs are significantly more expensive to produce and the people who collect them represent such a small niche. Jersey collectors as a whole are their own niche and people who actually care to have the on ice product is a fraction of that. I hope eventually we can get them or JerseyBaron gets TI stock like we did with the 2.0s, but I'm not optimistic.
  13. What the ... what a lucky grabby

  15. Teams were originally supposed to wear these “reverse retro” jerseys as a fourth jersey. It was confirmed that the Avalanche would be doing a variation of the Nordiques. Not sure if the program is still happening with COVID.
  16. And trading in some of his speed for an ounce of hockey IQ.
  17. I love that Kipper rookie. If only that was a goalie cut too.
  18. Not sure if this is the best place for this, but I wanted to share it somewhere... Back in 2013 I had EPS do a 2007-2010 Toronto Maple Leafs home 2.0. When I received it back, the outer edges of the back numbers only had a greenish hue to them. For a variety of dumb reasons such as not wanting to pick a fight with Josh, I never sent it back to them. I've sort of just forgot about it until today when I decided to strip it. This is what was on the other side: And the nameplate. I'm almost certain this is the adhesive reacting with the blue jersey. I've never seen anything like this before. Other than a couple spots small spots of glue that'll come out no problem with Acetone, the jersey is super clean and there is no previous signs of whatever this green residue is.

  20. Got some blanks done up Marc Andre Fleury Vegas Golden Knights MIC 58G Braden Holtby Washington Capitals Alternate 2.0 58G - one of my favourite alternates in the league Roberto Luongo Florida Panthers Away 2.0 58G - I need a 20th year patch for this Phil Kessel Toronto Maple Leafs Home 1.0 J.S. Giguere Toronto Maple Leafs Away 2.0 58G And probably my favourite of the haul - Shane Doan Arizona Coyotes 2.0 throwback from the 2016-2017 season with both the 20 year patch and 100th year patch. This is not a TI, the jersey has exchanged hands a few times and someone along the way unfortunately removed the retail neck and the size tag.
  21. I mean, I didn’t care that much. Im still safely getting around 7 plates out of it. Just wouldn’t go for them if I was trying to do a project/mash up.
  22. I bought a white canucks for nameplates. As a heads up, they are worn with puck marks, holes, burns etc.
