  1. Great transaction with thebiggoalie, he kept me up to date, and was very prompt even during the holiday season!
  2. Big thanks to thebiggoalie, this jersey is definitely something I have wanted for a long time.
  3. Guam I tried to PM you but it told me you couldn't receive more messages, I thought this was actually pretty funny and was wondering how to add it to my tag line?
  4. My fault if I made it seem like I blame the staff members at The Ducks Team Store, I don't, in fact they handled the situation amazingly I was able to return my item and refunded the entire amount, they even paid for the return shipment, the entire staff was absolutely professional about the ordeal. The part that frustrates me isn't their lack of knowledge about jerseys, I am fully aware of how dull I come across to the average human being about my hobby, they're just doing there jobs and I completely respect it, sales is a tough gig. I'm irritated that these well intentioned sales people were told they're selling something that is on-ice authentic so that's the information they pass on to the customer, when in reality it isn't the full truth. I'm more frustrated with the management or people at Reebok, basically whoever's decision it is to sell Indo-Edge jerseys and claim them as "authentic", it's dishonest. After speaking with someone from The Team Store over the phone the warehouse that supplies them can't even order the 7287A's so they won't be selling them. So if you want to buy authentic Ducks jersey's you'll have to look somewhere else, which seems unfortunate, because I knew it was cheaper here to buy the jersey, and I have purchased an edge jersey from Ice Jersey's but it is nice to be able to make a contribution to the official store of your favorite team even if it is more expensive. TML they actually are $366 after tax+shipping, the tag said $325.
  5. So when I wanted to order the Anaheim Ducks new away team jersey it was advertised by The Ducks that they would be selling these jerseys through the team store, I was very excited about the prospect. I called them up to order one and like any jersey collector I wanted to know what the number of the jersey would be that I was spending over $350 to get. The sales lady of course didn't know the answer to that and I explained that there could be several different types ie 7187 (doubtful the new jerseys would see 1.0's but you never know), 7231, or 7287 and I wanted the 7287 as it was the only one I would consider to be "authentic" as to my knowledge no team member has ever worn a 7231. After looking for someone who would know the answer (she told me no one did) she assured me that these were the same jerseys that they 'wore on the ice'. I was mistakenly trusting of this, thinking they couldn't say the same exact jerseys as they wear on the ice without that being the truth. This is a photo of what they sent me: obviously it takes an observer two seconds to realize this is the 7231a and not a 7287. I immediately called the team store to ask how to return this, and I am waiting on them to call me back, because they're looking into my order. I'm going to hope they do the right thing and I will be happy to inform you guys what happens, but in the meantime it seems pertinent to share what franchises deem acceptable in regards to selling a misleading product.
  6. Picked this guy up, but I'm not 100% on the authenticity, seems legit, but older jerseys are harder for me to tell. (I can provide more pictures if needed). I posted it in the just showed up today section too as well, just want to make sure it's the real deal. Thanks!
  7. Front Back Can someone verify that this is authentic? I can take more pictures as needed... I am just not as well versed in older jerseys and some parts feel/ seem legit, and others make me question. Thanks
  8. Looks good, just unsure from pictures. The thing that made me really wonder was the LNH on the tag...
  9. I was from Chicago, Blackhawks jersey prices will be what they are for a long time. Granted I can find authentics for them easier than I can for my favorite team, but I usually do pay less when I find them. To be honest I kinda disliked living in that town after 2010 because everyone wore Blackhawks gear but no one knew what icing was, let alone the finer points of the game.
  10. I personally like Icejersey's customization jobs, but I'd say go with the team customizer whenever possible with an authentic. I'd do exactly what these guys are saying buy a blank from IJ or another source, buy a name plate from probably JB or another source, then give it to CSL and pay the $70, which is pretty reasonable. It's more work, but in the end it is worth it.
  11. Plan on turning this into a captain Selanne Jersey A Classic
  12. I requested more pictures from this one but I don't know enough about the Nike's to make a call: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ANAHEIM-MIGHTY-DUCKS-PRO-NIKE-SZ-52-/261488697067?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item3ce1f0deeb. Does anyone know if the Nike Pro Jersey means authentic or replica?
  13. I am looking for 3 different ducks jerseys. 1 Nike Anaheim Mighty Ducks size 52 (prefer away, purple), 1 Blank or #27 07 Anaheim Ducks with or without patch size 52 (Home, Black), and still looking for 1 Koho Black Alternate Mighty Ducks of Anaheim Blank or #27. Blanks of course are preference.
