  1. I saw Baron has straight plates. I need arched. Last time I asked about them he said the ones he has are the wrong color blue for NYR, besides being straight. Also, being a Vector not Wordmark jersey, I need edge plate to be correct. Rangers didn't use air-knit plates in their 85th season. Thanks for taking the time to give a heads-up thought. edit: confirmed at 1:30pm 8/31/15. JB says he cannot get them.
  2. Still seeking this plate. Anyone? Beuller?.....Beuller?
  3. Nice TBTC collection Slim. Also. For you guys bargain hunting the Wild sale. Research the jersey first. They have a Nazarov listed as game worn set 3, yet he only had a cup of coffee at the begining of the season then was sent to Houston. Same with a Roloson they had that was set 3 but he was traded before he would have worn it.
  4. I saw j4w had this jersey and I have never seen a fake gretz liberty and without going crazy looking at all the details I asked him if the jersey had the Berlin. WI tag in it. That was a couple days ago. I guess by his ignoring my question, it does not, and he knows, that I know, that he knows that I know it's not what it should be. I was genuinely interested if it was a Berlin jersey regardless of the customizations.
  5. Okay. I'm going back 2 pages in this thread. "Richter" talk sparked my interest, but I can't for the life of me figure out what you two are talking about. Did a post get deleted at the start of this conversation?
  6. WTB: Avalanche Koho 3rd jersey. Size 58 or 60. Specifically looking for Koho, not RBK.
  7. He was a bastardo of a player. And I mean that as a compliment. Nice pick-up.
  8. Was at Dickssportinggoods yesterday at the Palasade's Mall and meandered over to the Rangers paraphinailia. What the heck is RBK doing selling absolute junk for jerseys? Are they trying to defete the chinese knock-off factories by making thier Premier jerseys look like the knock-off's? The NYR Heritage jerseys didn't even have the correct font for the player names. This goes way beyond being a jersey snob. It's down right insulting.
  9. Kind of why I am curious. I looked through google images for gamers and found a Lindros and you gotta figure he and Lemieux were the biggest guys out side of goalies. But I also know that the CCM's back then were larger than the newer CCM's and Reeboks on a size comparison basis. I'd like to make a 94 Richter sometime. Just trying to figure out if I should hold out for a goalie cut or regular cut.
  10. I may not have worded my original question properly after re-reading it. I was looking to asertain whether the name plates were interchangable between the Koho 3rd jersey and a Koho road burgundy. (home? not sure when NHL switched whites to road.) But thank you. I got the answer I was looking for from another forum.
  11. New question. Colorado Avalanche. Early 2000's Is the Airknit plate for the regular Koho burgundy road jersey, the same exact color, as the Koho diagonal 3rd burgundy jersey?
  12. My ebay droid app has been acting wierd too the past couple weeks, Just little stuff with messages not loading, or bids being placed by bidders and the notifications comeing through not in real time like they normally do.
  13. 1994-1997 All Star jersey authentics. Eastern Conference. 1) Has anyone ever seen a size larger than 56? 2) Has anyone ever seen a blank goalie cut? Just wondering if these jerseys exist or if I should just be happy with a 56 when/if I ever find it.
  14. That's what I did with a jersey I had with wrong name on the back for the patched jersey. Ginger little swipes acrosse the threads. Peeled the letters. Then turned the jersey inside out and the stitching just fell right out with a finger rub.
  15. Perhaps I don't understand eBay well enough - but why is it bad that he/she placed 7 more bids after that? I'm assuming if he placed 7 more bids - they were all increases over his/her initial $99 bid right? So in theory if someone else bid - the bid would go up as high as the initial bidder's highest bid right? Isn't that good? It's good if other bidders actually bid. but the last helmet I sold I started at $99.99 and had 3 bids, topped out at $112. (he was 1 of those bids too) In my eyes, he's chasing away competition by doing what he's doing.
  16. Game worn West Point Lacrosse helmet. Hope its at least legit so not to totaly waste my time. Bidder name is Unionlax. Union is a rival school in multiple sports for WP.
  17. Dig dang, rip rappin, rabble frazzing, grumble grumble Listed a few things over the weekend and one of my items that I started out with a $99.99 bid has 3 watchers and one of them decided he is going to be the first bidder and then place 7 other bids on top of that. What a d*** maneuver. I didn't expect to get much more than the starting bid as I sold a similar item recently that topped out at $112, but man, every dollar counts. Now it will probably stay stuck on that minimum bid to this jerk. FYI, He also bid on the other item, but only the 1 minimum bid and lost to the two others that out bid him. Sorry. Really needed to vent that.
  18. Cool back story. Thanks for sharing the info. Hahaha. NHL was on crack down that season. Same season Rangers went with the white liberty jersey and the NHL didn't like 3 color player names thus the 2nd set was 2 color names with 3 color numbers.
  19. Have you tried to figure out who the Puppa used to be before the number change. Looks like the arm numbers were replaced at one time with all those loose black threads. Just curious.
  20. Yes. They actually have edge nameplates too but I don't want to send my TI NYR goalie cut to them as they do the #3 wrong in a major way and the #0 center is slightly off. but. I understand they do other teams perfectly so I won't discredit them totally. When I looked at their sight I think they use a Boogaard customization as an example for that specific jersey and at quick glance the name looks off. But knowing they may have the 6100 plates I will take the time to scrutinize the images more to see if they are acceptable. Hahaha. Yeah. I'm that guy. But being a game worn collector for so long who is getting back into authentics I've developed an eye for detail I just can;t shake.
  21. Hmmm. Interesting and tempting. Not 100% sold on their customizing of that specific jersey though based on the pictures they provide. The player name looks a little off, but admittedly I haven't spent a lot of time analizing it to the "T". Thanks for the info. I will be looking into it. I know I can/will/would drive myself crazy but I want the jersey to be as close to spec as possible. It's a Team Issued jersey. Large size like Boogy would wear. I really liked the guy a lot. He wasn't just a fun hockey player but also someone you could tell loved giving back to his community too, especially kids charities. I hold him in the same regard as Adam Graves that way. As much as he was more of a Wild player, I'll always think of him as a Ranger as well even though it was just a short time. Hence, since I will never afford a Boogy gamer I want this to be a tribute jersey as close as I can possibly get it. Even getting the FIVE YEAR patch right cuz that was his rookie season.
  22. Knowing it is a ccm/koho replica makes me feel a little better as I know the quality of them was actually above average early 2000's. I was a bit skeptical of rbk because I know some of the 6100's of smaller market teams were very thin air knit, for example Tampa Bay, and I was concerned a replica would be worse. Definitely going to give it shot given the plate is rare as hen's teeth.
  23. I'm not totally sure about which replica was used. I bought a rbk 6100 minny wild green jersey from JB and a seller on ebay, memoriesanddreams has a 24"x4" airknit nameplate that when asked he said was from a replica. I did ask so no confussion if a replica or pro authentic was used.
  24. If you had a pro authentic air knit reebok 6100 jersey. Would you consider using a name plate cut from a reebok replica air knit donor? I have read here that the replica air knits were a hair thinner. Are there any problems associated with the thinner material? Such as shrinking in wash, etc...
