  1. NHL Team Customizers

Wow. Glad I got it done while I could. So, is there anyone else who still does 90s Rangers?
  2. NHL Team Customizers

Good to know. I called Arena Wear today and will be sending it to them. It costs a little more and will probably take longer because they're backed up right now, but it sounds like the finished product will be worth it.
  3. NHL Team Customizers

Don't know. I used Cosby's a couple of years ago to customize a CCM 1990s ultrafil.
  4. NHL Team Customizers

I'm looking at both convenience and cost. On the one hand, I can stop by Cosby's on my way to work, but on the other, EPS seems to have lower prices (http://exclusivepro.com/product/86/new_york_rangers_team_color_jersey). I'm not familiar with Arena Wear (is that who does the game jerseys?), and since they are in Westchester I would be dealing with them by mail. Unless I'm missing someone, I'm basically asking about Cosby versus EPS to customize a Rangers Edge 2.0.
  5. NHL Team Customizers

I'm in New Jersey, and commute into NYC. Is there a particular reason that for Rangers customization, Cosby's is only recommended for 1950s-1990s, and not for more recent styles (like the Edge 2.0's)? Is there anyone else local? I'm thinking of using Exclusive Pro Sports, which I see is recommended for a lot of other teams, but not for Rangers.

  7. 2017-2018 Jersey Watch

So the wordmark logo started with the 2011/12 season?
  8. 2017-2018 Jersey Watch

From the "This Ship Has Sailed" department: I have a blank Rangers Edge 2.0 that I've been waiting to customize because I couldn't make up my mind who I want to put on it. Now that the window for these has closed, I want to look at the rosters for the years the jerseys were worn and pick somebody. I can't seem to confirm what season the Rangers started wearing the 2.0. Does anyone know?
  9. Good point about the sleeves. I usually like jerseys to be a bit on the fitted side, but can go bigger in size if it lies relatively flat on the body. As a Maska this one might be a little rigid, although the collar looks to be in good shape, so that would help prevent sagging.
  10. Hi, all. I have a few CCM 1990's authentics in size 48, which fits me nicely (in Edge 2.0 I wear 50 to 54). I found another CCM 1990's authentic that I want to buy but it's a size 52. Any thoughts on how significant the size difference might feel? I'm 5'11" and 190 lbs. Thanks!
  11. The Mitchell and Ness website says that Authentic Jackets are sized like this: Size XS S M L XL 2XL 3XL 4XL 5XL Chest (inches) 36 - 38 39 - 41 42 - 44 45 - 47 48 - 50 51 - 53 54 - 56 57 - 59 60 - 62 Body Length (inches) 25 - 26 26 - 27 27 - 28 28 - 29 29 - 30 30 - 31 31 - 32 32 - 33 33 - 34 Sleeve Length (inches) 32 - 33 33 - 34 34 - 35 35 - 36 36 - 37 37 - 38 38 - 39 39 - 40 40 - 41 My actual chest measurements are in the 42-44 range, and I normally wear a Large. Here, though, it looks like I would need a Medium instead. Does anyone have experience with M&N Authentic wool jackets, and know whether they are "true to size" or really do run big? Thanks
  12. NHL Vintage Series

Thanks LAK74. That makes it really clear. I have a couple of 90s CCMs in size 48 and the width measurement you described comes to 24. I'm going to go with the large - better a little big than too small.

  14. NHL Vintage Series

I've been looking at V550 replicas, and I'm confused about the different size charts out there. For example: Here http://www.sportsk.com/vintage-ccm-hockey-jersey-sizes.htm it says a Medium is 26" pit to pit and a Large is 29" pit to pit, but Here http://shop.nhl.com/HelpDesk/Sizing_Chart?sizeChartNavState=/league/Vintage%20Hockey/brand/CCM/genderagegroup/Mens/agegroup/Adult/category/Jerseys it says a Medium is 27" pit to pit and a Large is 28" pit to pit, and Here http://www.icejerseys.com/Bus/B33/S5/ContentPages/sizeChart.html it says a Medium is 23" pit to pit and a Large is 25.5" pit to pit. I'm 5'11 and 190 lbs and wear a 50 or 52 in an Edge 2.0, and a 50-54 in an Indo Edge (I don't like the fit to be overly loose). Maybe someone with personal experience could clarify the v550 sizing for me? Much appreciated!
  15. Help on WHO TO PUT ON THIS!

For Rangers 1978-1987: John Vanbiesbrouck (#34) or Ron Greschner (#4, Captain)? Thanks!
