  1. A "jersey collecting is an illness" thread.

But white jerseys are so much easier to photomatch.
  2. The Patch Thread 2.0

Looking for a red Vector patch for a Wings jersey. Does anyone have one they'd move?
  3. It arrived today v. 8.0

Thanks guys. The Elliott was the first jersey I ever stripped. Many, many lessons learned. Namely, that Keener has a knack for bringing jerseys back to life after I've screwed them up. The level of detail is just amazing, I am going to hate sending it back for the extra T. The Boosh was the second jersey (nameplate only) I have ever stripped. Another lesson learned, always trust guys who know their teams like Josh.
  4. It arrived today v. 8.0

A hat trick from Keener arrived just now. The Flyers is a GI jersey of another #33 that I picked up from Cowboys; Boucher and the cup patch were added. The Sabres came blank from TBG (and yes, I'll replace the patch). The B-Sens is the reason why I'm called Doctor of Seam Ripping-- this jersey took me months to clean. Keener's crew did a wonderful job removing the last glue residue and pills-- they're also going to fix the nameplate. I can't get over how good the Senators looks, flaw and all. It was beat up when I sent it out and the thing is pristine now.

Me, compulsively checking Facebook to see if I can find a good deal. Now that falls into the problem realm.
  6. *Dumb Question Alert* Re: Facebook Groups

Though I wasn't directing my bumps at anyone in particular with my meltdown yesterday, that was therapeutic.
  7. *Dumb Question Alert* Re: Facebook Groups

No, it's really important that I make a sale. BUMP.
  8. *Dumb Question Alert* Re: Facebook Groups

It's been a few hours. Crap-tastic and overpriced jersey bump.
  9. *Dumb Question Alert* Re: Facebook Groups

Wait. Let me delete these posts and re-submit them so they go to the top of the thread over everyone else's comments. AM I DOING FACEBOOK RIGHT???
  10. *Dumb Question Alert* Re: Facebook Groups

    Sorry, I feel better now.
  11. A "jersey collecting is an illness" thread.

I was going to say no Devils jerseys at all but then I remembered FuriousD has a Devs jersey that will eventually make its way into my collection.
  12. A "jersey collecting is an illness" thread.

You really had to go there? I just can't explain how I went from being an angry Bruins fan (suck, 2010) to a connoisseur of all things Philadelphia. I am here to say, though, I will never own a Vancouver jersey.
  13. eBay version 4.0

Is anyone getting the "you forgot to do this" reminder at the main page of your selling dashboard? Why fix the seller's dashboard if it's not broken?
  14. It arrived today v. 8.0

Really appreciate it. I may just have to pay up for it. It would be nice to get this confirmed since I met Trees when he was in Binghamton back then.
  15. It arrived today v. 8.0

I'm hopeful that's the case. The puck marks are pretty evident. It's not hammered at all but this has been worn for sure. I'll need to dig deep to find Binghamton game photos from that year. Trees was on the smaller size, so maybe the snug fit is just me eating too many donuts.
  16. This topic got kicked up on the 'It arrived thread' but I'd like everyone'e take on something. Which teams have had the widest gap between their worst jerseys and their best jerseys? It's subjective when we talk about overall jersey design, I know. We so often compare teams against each other but let's compare teams against their prior looks. If you want to get nerdy, try a scale from 10= Best jersey ever to 0=Worst jersey ever. I would give Mooterus a 1, with the victory green home Dallas jerseys at 10, for a nine-point gap. The Islanders in my world would get a 1/2 point for their current thirds and perhaps a 7 for their initial jerseys (home or road). Buffalo with Buffaslug and their initial jerseys would have a big gap too. Other teams have no gaps since they've had either consistently good or consistently bad looks. What about you?
  17. 2017-2018 Jersey Watch

I actually don't mind the shoulders on Binghamton's new Jersey jerseys. Kinda reminds me of the Flames thirds from 2013-16. Regarding the new AHL Senators, yawn. Via Sportsnet:
  18. It arrived today v. 8.0

One of you proved helpful, the other one forgot the Devils-Binghamton connection and should feel intense shame at not appreciating this bit of New York glory. Thanks @LAK74, study harder @mfitz804. The 1990-91 season will be a good starting point for pictures.
  19. It arrived today v. 8.0

Ok friends, I need your help on a jersey I took a flyer on (ha, pun intended) from ebay. I'm not sure what I have. The jersey has some evidence of game wear and I am hard pressed to think someone would fake a LaForest. It has Cosby tags inside but it's so old that the size tag is washed out. The concern is that it's tight on me. The sleeves end at my wrist but it's not baggy at all. (For comparison, it feels like a 54 Edge on me). I know Trees was a smaller guy... I suspect it's either a camp jersey with the big-club or a Binghamton Rangers gamer. Either that or I just wasted money.
  20. How To WASH A JERSEY 101

Has anyone treated a jersey with vinegar? We use it because it really neutralizes nasty smells when we run our laundry (rags especially). I've had some success with vinegar in getting out musty smells from jerseys. Anyone else?
  21. eBay version 4.0

Get off my lawn with your fancy doo-hickey cellphones and your Internet. Jerks. (PS, thanks mfitz. I'll just use ebay from now on.)
  22. eBay version 4.0

I finally entered the new century and purchased a home printer. I know eBay knocks off USPS shipping fees if you go through them and print a label via their site. Does the USPS reduce prices if you ship from home via a printed label from your computer?
