  1. If anyone is interested, I've got a couple nice, tough to find Portland Winterhawks game worn jerseys available on ebay. And an old cheapo Islanders replica from late 80s(i'm guessing). http://www.ebay.com/sch/punkrockredneck/m.html?item=261287033779&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cd5ebbbb3&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
  2. Came in the mail today. One jersey closer to having all Winterhawks players. 89-90 Dave Archibald game worn New York Rangers.
  3. While I agree with all the above points, it really just comes down to how much YOU are willing to pay for a specific jersey. Something I've noticed in my years of collecting game worn jerseys, is that quite often, if someone knows that you focus on a specific player they contact you telling you they have a jersey of said player are willing to sell it if you're interested. When you ask how much, it's usually waaaay more than a similar player would go for. For instance, I'm a big Lonny Bohonos fan, you'd be amazed how many times I've been contacted by people with a gamer of his and they're asking $400-$500. I know it's just because they know I really want his jerseys, but c'mon, he had a cup of tea in the NHL. Players with his NHL experience can be had as low as $150 sometimes. It's nuts. So I only have 2 of his jerseys because I'm not willing to pay a ransom for a guy most people have zero interest in. It's all about how much you are willing to spend.
  4. Love that Belarus jersey Brilliant. Great looking jerseys
  5. Thanks, I actually debated about whether or not I should get this Bruins jersey or one of his Islanders jerseys which showed more wear. But I couldn't resist one of my favorite Hawks on an Original 6 team.
  6. Got this Wednesday. Isbister was a favorite of mine when he was with the Winterhawks. Only year he was with the Bruins. Photo matched too!
  7. Thanks. Those were great jerseys back then. I had a guy offer me lonnys 3rd jersey but he wanted way too much for it. Wish I could of gotten it. It'd be cool to have all 3 jerseys Lonny wore that year. I actually liked the Nucks back in the 90s tho. Not more than my Stars granted, but it was fun watching those teams. My first NHL game was Dallas in Vancouver. Bure was hurt so I didn't get to see him. I went to 3 Canucks games back then and NEVER got to see Bure play. Go figure.
  8. You know, another spot to check out (if you haven't yet) is webshots. LOTS of people, including me, post their collections on there and sometimes are willing to sell. Worth a shot anyway.
  9. check out ebay. There's always Sagueneens on there. And gameworn.net too. I see them pop up quite a bit on there pretty often also. One of my favorite jerseys ever by the way. Pre-edge anyway.
  10. I remember reading about that a while back when the story broke about his family doing that. Just an amazing story. I'd be a very proud fan if I followed that team. They've done a ton to help that family out. Kudos for them.
  11. 9 game worn 3 practice worn 5 replicas Have actually whittled it down quite a bit over the last couple years. Mostly just the replicas.
  12. Should be interesting to see how high some of those guys go for. I'm sure some will be reasonable but of course the bigger names will be waaaaaay overpriced. Either way Cal, here's your chance at Nino and Bart!
  13. haha, ok maybe not. Still, I really don't care for the hawk eyes as a jersey logo. I don't mind the eyes as a hat logo or something like that. I actually got one for my youngest son. I just don't think they look good as a primary logo. The Hawks have a great logo. Why mess with a good thing? I did actually like the city skyline 3rds tho. The feather one I could have lived without seeing tho.
