  1. Been looking for a Penguins navy blue 2011 WC Edge 1.0 in size 50 for years. Doesn't need to be the WC (with the patch), will take blank or pretty much any player and willing to pay a more than fair price to finally end the search.
  2. Ok, so after watching some highlights of that series, Scapinello definitely did work those games. Any approximation on value of a game worn SCF officials jersey from 1990? I haven't a clue.
  3. https://imgur.com/a/uMYE4zi My dad gave this to me years ago and I just pulled it out of the closet and brought it home with me after visiting the folks for the holidays. From my research, Scapinello didn't ref during the 1990 SCF so that's a bit odd, but the patches are all super legit, including the one on the right sleeve I assume is for John McCauley passing in 1989. Some discoloration on the back, unfortunately. Anyone have any other info they can contribute? I also have no idea what a starting point for this would be in negotiating a sale if it comes to that. Any info is appreciated!
  4. Great, thanks guys. I think I'll hold off on this one then.
  5. Found this on eBay, right size, right price, a player I'd love to have, but can't find out whether the customization is way off: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=231672375276&alt=web AFAIK, the pictures I've seen all show nameplates. Just wanted to get all of your opinions on if this is way off. Thanks!
  6. A 46 is most similar to a small but the cut is a little bit different in the arms. The only problem I've noticed with 46 authentics is that the numbers can sometimes look huge/not align properly on the back. After I got my first 46, I've only gotten 50s, even if they are a little oversized for me. I just think they look better.
  7. I actually like the Avs one quite a bit. I think it's an interesting modern take without beating you over the head with chrome logos and diagonal stripes and jagged hems trying to make the jersey look "fast" like the Stadium Series jerseys. It's almost like a minimalist jersey, just with a lot more going on than the new black and white Isles third. It's clean, simple, and I really like the logo. For a more modern logo design, for me, it beats the pants off any of the busy, aggressive logos of the last 20 years (Panthers, Predators, Sharks, minor league teams). It almost looks modern and classic at the same time. To me, the regular Avalanche logo is starting to look a little dated/90's. I think it's a nice update to the old Rockies logo. I'm interested to see how they look with the socks and rest of the uniforms, I'll reserve my final judgement until then.
  8. They do very good, solid work that to the average person, will look exactly right. Obviously, the people here aren't the average person, so if you are a stickler for details, you'd need to go to the team customizer. However, plenty of people send jerseys to them and are thrilled with how they turn out.
  9. International NHL shop leaks new Ducks and Avalanche third jerseys http://shop.international.nhl.com/stores/nhl/en/product/anaheim-ducks-premier-third-jersey/161855 http://shop.international.nhl.com/stores/nhl/en/product/colorado-avalanche-premier-third-jersey/161861 Thoughts?
  10. Hey there folks. I'm looking for a white Robitaille Robopen Authentic CCM jersey in size 46-50. Or, a blank Robopen in the same size/era that I can get customized. If anyone is looking to move either one of these, let me know!
  11. That's weird. I dropped off a jersey there about a week and a half ago and both the girl I spoke to on the phone and the guy I gave my jersey to (not Bob) said it would be three weeks. I was surprised it was that short after reading some of the crazy stories I hear and expressed my surprise. He said something along the lines of "Oh no, three weeks is a long time for us, we like to try to get it done a lot quicker than that, but it can take a little longer starting in a few weeks when camp opens up". I didn't know whether to laugh or be scared that I'm not gonna see my jersey til next summer. But they said three weeks so hopefully I get lucky!
  12. I was super pumped to get this authentic for a great price on eBay and wanted to get Crosby's name on it to replace the first jersey I ever got, which as I now know, was a fake. At the advice of someone on this board, I sent it into Cutting Edge Sports, the customizer who did these jerseys for the team. Paid $95 including return shipping and I have to say, I'm really disappointed with how it turned out. I recently got a Hornqvist Penguins Premier third jersey back from River City Sports and the customization on that one looks worlds better to me. So, looking for advice from you senior collectors, is this normal? Should I ask for a refund? Is there even anything that can be done to fix it? It just looks like she did it in about ten minutes. I actually even called after I sent it in to make sure she would be doing kiss-cut and to see if she had the Edge material for the nameplate (which she did). And she kind of mockingly/annoyed said "I'll do it exactly how I did it for the team. It just seems like the stitching is all over the numbers, there are strange creases in the material on the 8 on the back that isn't from the way it was shipped, some of the placements are off, I don't know. What do you guys think? Album can be found here http://imgur.com/a/9vozn
  13. I've bought a Penguins and Thrashers on eBay but never seen the authentics anywhere else. Just the Premier versions.
  14. Oh, I knew it was fake right off the bat, just have never seen the fake MeiGray patch either. Gave me a good laugh. I guess it's more common than I thought!
  15. Did someone sew a Meigrey patch onto this jersey themselves? Can't imagine Crosby wearing a 48 with gear on: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Authentic-Sidney-Crosby-Pittsburgh-Penguins-2008-Winter-Classic-Mens-48-CCM-/151545754397?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item2348d4b31d
