I had that May. The funny thing is that it was up for auction through GameWorn twice - the first time they called it game worn, the second time they called it GI. My assumption based on the wear is that it was worn for at least one game - right before he got traded.

They had good teams in the early 90s, late 90s, and early 2000s, that just couldn't get over the hump. The last decade has been a joke.

Every 80s Leafs jersey makes my heart swoon and takes me back to a time when the team was being destroyed by the morons in charge, but I didn't know any better because I was a kid. Special thanks to Dave Nonis for providing that special "morons in charge" feeling most recently. Bigger thanks to Shanny for providing me with something called "hope", a brand new emotion to this Leaf fan.

I hear ya, and I'd like to think that whoever gets it is smart enough to see that, but it's still a jacka$$ move in my books. All he needs to do to make it above board is call it "Event worn".

Yup. I even contacted him suggesting his listing was pretty sketchy, and he totally justified it. I asked "since you have it listed as game worn, which games was it worn in?" and his reply was "it has game worn tagging".

My favourite memory of Tie Domi: June 30, 2006 when the Leafs bought out the last year of his contract. A close second? March 10, 2006 when Tie pouted in his hotel room rather than come to the rink because he was a healthy scratch. Must have learned that leadership from Shayne Corson.

We'll just have to agree to disagree - we are on the same team afterall. I just don't get how anyone can say that a guy who scored the 5th most goals in the NHL over the time that he was with a team is the reason they sucked. You start with the most inept GM in recent history, then the coaching staff and go from there. Like it or not, facts are facts - Kessel did his job.

From 2009 to 2015 (i.e. his Leaf career) Kessel scored the 5th most goals in the NHL (181), trailing only Ovechkin (256), Stamkos (253), Perry (205) and Nash (184). He did this with Tyler frickin Bozak as his center. FIFTH MOST! Personally, I don't get the hatred from most Leaf fans when it comes to Kessel. He was brought in to score goals, and he scored goals. Sure, he's a weird looking dude. And sure, he didn't kiss media Arse, but he did his job, and he did it better than most.

Nice! I, uh, won the Stempniak cuz I recently decided to start collecting Stempniaks. As soon as I figure out a good reason for collecting Stempniaks I will share it, but as of right now all I have is "Best Player Drafted in the 5th Round of the 2003 Draft".

Man, before long this thread is gonna be named the "cferneyh whining about eBay". I recently had a dude from Germany message me a bunch of questions about a Kubina game worn Thrashers jersey I am selling. Will I ship to Germany. Do I have an LOA. Can I take a picture of it. I said yes to everything and sent him a pic of the LOA. Then the negotiation went like this: He offer $200. I countered with $275. He came back at $225. I declined. He made a new offer of $250. I countered with $275. He accepted. And guess what? No payment. Best of all is this guy has feedback of over 600, so I'm guessing he understands the basics of how eBay works. Man. This is the 3rd non-paying jerk in less than a month.

My favourite guys on Facebook are the ones that ask you 39 questions about a jersey, ask you to send pictures, and then just disappear. No 'thanks for your time, but I'm going to pass'.Just..... nothing.

Brandon McCarthy referred to AJ Daulerio as a "blocked punt of a human being" on Twitter. I like that - that's how I'll refer to eBay non-payers going forward. I haven't sold a ton of things on eBay over the years, but dealing in jerseys is the first time I've ever had to deal with non-payers.
