Good luck! That is a very rare sweater. There is no chain stitching on the crest. I believe this was before the small block “pinhead” version of the 80’s. Think I have seen 2-3 in the past few years. Bob or some of the more experienced Hawks guys might be able to shed more light on this.

The wool are HEAVY and itchy. Not ideal for warmer games but can be nice when using a long sleeve undershirt. Also, the 3/4 sleeve style are very long in the arms. Sizing of the newer M&N is a more slim cut. USA and other versions.

Sizing is a bit different than Majestic but the quality of the USA made jerseys is amazing. I would go down at least one size. Normally wear 46-48 and XL M&N is bigger in the pit to pit measurements. What version are you looking at?

They are chain-stitched but the loop on the pattern is so tightly sewn that the feathers look pressed down. I will pop in later today and take pics. Perhaps the process to make the crests for retail is not done by hand anymore?

Went to the Hawks store downtown tonight. I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the materials of the body and the crest. As others have pointed out already, the materials are very similar to the Reebok premiers. The fight strap appears to be shorter and is made of inferior quality. The same mistake was made again with the crest being too tight and and appears to be smashed to the jersey. The 2.0, 1.0 and previous jersey crests are all much...fluffier? Makes such a difference in my opinion when the crest is the most beautiful part of the sweater. Unless they come out with an updated version or they make some changes, I will not be buying the Adizero-Indo.
