  1. It arrived today v. 8.0

Thanks, I was able to sew the patch on myself this afternoon... But disappointly not to game spec (I think)
  2. It arrived today v. 8.0

A new arrival sorta. I've never been so excited about a patch before. It totally makes the jersey in this case. The jersey and the patch are both from forum members... All I can say is use the Wantlist thread kids, you can turn up some pretty awesome finds. Thanks @True North Hockey for the patch.
  3. It arrived today v. 8.0

Big fan of that Flyers look. Nice haul!
  4. It arrived today v. 8.0

It's definitely the same jersey. It does look green in that instagram pic... for sure the lighting. Best part was no worries finding matching mesh since they didn't use nameplates on the Whalers.
  5. It arrived today v. 8.0

Yes, thanks, same one. After watching the videos it got me even more excited to get it back. Keener did some great work, yet again.
  6. It arrived today v. 8.0

It's rookie jersey day for me. This was the longest I've waited for Keener but worth the wait... 81-82 Francis 85-86 Casey 91-92 Lidstrom, wanted this jersey ever since I laid eyes on it in the jersey book!

Here's an authentic NHL 75th patch for anyone who might be looking. https://www.ebay.com/itm/NHL-75-Year-Anniversary-Authentic-Patch/183239138712?hash=item2aa9e75d98:g:vqoAAOSwm4NbBbYa
  8. Starter Made In El Salvador Jerseys

Wow, I didn't know this. I just had to look at my white Liberty and it appears to be in line with the gamers collar colours. And weird to hear about the Haiti made without the double elbows and fight strap. That again must pertain to only SOME of them. The one and only one I ever owned had both the double elbows and fight strap.
  9. It arrived today v. 8.0

I have to agree with you on this, best all-star jersey ever, it and the TBTC's are awesome.
  10. Starter Made In El Salvador Jerseys

The one Starter El Salvador I own is pretty nice, I'd definitely value it above the Adizero 'authentics' and consider it an authentic. That said if given the choice I'd take a Berlin over it and pay extra for a Berlin. But looking at prices I'd say El Salvador's still sell like a regular center ice authentic, Berlins probably just fetch a little more. I don't think you're being too picky, I'm in the same boat now as I think I only want Berlin.
  11. NHL Team Customizers

I didn't know where to put this question and I'm not sure I will get any input but does anyone know what happened with the jersey supplier Pederson's, who supplied the North Stars in 83-84 and the Islanders in 84-85. I think they also supplied the US olympic team in 84. I guess my question is do they still exist as a company or were they bought out? If so does anyone know by which company? Apparently Vintage Minnesota Hockey still gets nameplate material from Pedersons so I figured they're still in operation in some capacity. I'd like to get the Pedersons wordmark embroidered on an older North Stars jersey. I could probably just have it done at a local embroidery shop, but it would be awesome if I could get it done by the supplier.
  12. What jersey did you wear today?

    A little ultrafil goodness!
  13. It arrived today v. 8.0

Awesome Hull! And I'm not big on Thrashers jerseys but I think that's the best style.
  14. What jersey did you wear today?

Since the Mem Cup is going on I will pull this one out of the closet for the weekend and display it. A little too big for me to wear though. Go Pats!
  15. J's For Sale Thread

Bump, see original post. I somehow sold a couple this past week (yes I feel lucky considering the market), now down to a few. Thanks

  17. It arrived today v. 8.0

I didn't even notice it on the main back pic of the jersey, so it's good that you even caught it. I'd say they just made a small mistake in the placement by having the left edge a little lower than the right edge. I wouldn't think it has anything to do with the size of the jersey, because it looks like they could have even made the nameplate slightly smaller and this never would have been an issue. But I'd chalk it up to a minor imperfection, which you will see from every customizer from time to time. I still think the jersey looks solid.
  18. It arrived today v. 8.0

Nice pickups @BennGuin1491! I might have to add a Benn Texas Stars to my list... good luck finding the Calder Cup Patch.
  19. It arrived today v. 8.0

    Nice looking Kings trio!
  20. The Patch Thread 2.0

I have a quick question about older SCF patches ranging from 1990-1999. Does anyone know if there would be a variation in patches worn by the opposing teams. The specific example I'm looking into is the 1991 patch, so basically would there maybe be some differences between the SCF patch the Pens wore and the patch the North Stars wore in the finals?
  21. The Current Situation of the Secondary Market

It's a buyers market right now, and no one is in a hurry to buy anything. This past weekend I sold my first jersey in a long time and I lost $50 on it, but was happy to move ANYTHING at this point. I had 2 other jerseys get offers and when I counteroffered, the bidders just ignored me and my offers. It's like you're doing good to even get an offer these days, and it's like you gotta take it and absorb the loss and move on or you're simply not moving jerseys in this market. That said, I'm just glad I sold off most of my jerseys I wanted to sell before the bottom completely fell out of the market.
  22. What jersey did you wear today?

Thank you! I'd say 52 is about my lowest too, with a handful of exceptions in the collection that you just can't find in the desired size.
  23. What jersey did you wear today?

I'll definitely keep it in mind. I was thinking about moving it at some point since it's size 50 and I prefer 52/54. I thought it was cool to have a 50 since they're sorta rare and I believe Casey being a smaller guy usually wore size 50. If a newer condition Bruins comes up in my preferred size I'll very likely be reaching out to you.
  24. eBay version 4.0

Yes it does appear that way. Very odd... if I was a prospective buyer, I'd be asking for some better pics of the fight strap area on the inside of the jersey.
  25. eBay version 4.0

I wish this conversation came up a few days sooner, so I could have worked on my lowball tactic. A couple days ago, I offered 55-60% of the asking price on a jersey, and it was accepted right quick. It's left me wondering what I could have gotten the jersey for from a likely motivated seller. Their asking price was quite high though in the 300 range, so I really offered almost FMV on it. I definitely should have adjusted my offer to what FMV was, but I figured if they valued the jersey as highly as they did, they'd likely not accept and we'd move on... BUT as it turns out I've got another jersey at a fair price rather than what would qualify as a deal or a steal.
