I saw it on a Vintage Blues Jersey last night at Game 4.

I've see a gold "V" chest patch on some (only two, actually) CMM 550 Vintage NHL jerseys. What's the story with this patch? And why did CMM apparently place it on a small number of jerseys, at least that I've seen. Someone told me this is an indicator that it's a fake, but it doesn't make sense for someone producing fakes to attach a patch that screams fake! Anyone know the history of the gold V chest patch. By the way, the V patch features a small NHL logo at the bottom of the V. Thanks, all
