    eBay version 4.0

As a UK based collector I deal with customs fees all the time. eBays GSP is a nightmare for overseas buyers, my experience is it always costs more than having it shipped outside the program, by as much as 120% in some of my purchases. I am happy for sellers to write at full value and insure the package, but definitely prefer shipping outside of the eBay GSP. On a $200 jersey eBay wants to charge $81 in customs fees. If that was shipped outside the GSP I'd probably pay about $40-$45 at UK customs. I understand sellers like the simplicity and peace of mind the GSP provides, but there has been many jerseys on eBay I have passed on as the GSP customs charge makes them unaffordable, whereas shipping outside the GSP and letting UK customs calculate the charge is definitely better, IMO! Just thought you NA guys would be interested to see how the numbers break down!
  3. The one I got from Keener is yeah. Team specs are layered, but I didn't specify to be fair. I have a game worn Cummins 3rd, only had this one done so I didn't have to wear the gamer!
  4. 2 Avalanche jerseys back from Keener a couple of days ago! Cummins Authentic by Andrew Reynolds, on Flickr Foote Authentic by Andrew Reynolds, on Flickr Feel free to check out my other jerseys at https://www.flickr.com/photos/137823859@N02/albums Andy

    Grail stories

As a UK based collector, my time watching NHL games live is limited! I've currently seen 3 games, NYR Vs VAN @ MSG in 2015, and own 2 Rangers (Moore, Hayes) and 3 Canucks (Vey, Vrbata, Stanton) jerseys from that game. The other 2 games were the London NHL Premier games in 2007, ANA Vs LAK. In 11 years of searching for jerseys from those 2 games nothing, when 2 fell into my lap at the end of last year after a chance online conversation with a Kings collector.....and his buddy! Jonathan Bernier's NHL debut from the 1st game, and Brad Stuart's from the 2nd. 2 games 2 sets, the NHL way! And some gained understanding of Kings game worn tagging! So that's everything ticked off apart from a Ducks from the London games...…07/08 White Set 1. Found an advertising video from Beckett years ago, no separate set, reg season set, same jerseys used in both games and 1st month or so of season. Clearly they were auctioned, but never saw them, despite checking repeatedly. Still looking for one 12 years later now! Patience.....
  6. No idea if repros but...… https://www.ebay.com/itm/ZEPTER-blue-sponsor-IIHF-WHC-jersey-shoulder-sleeve-patch-Canada-rare/202576000072?_trkparms=aid%3D444000%26algo%3DSOI.DEFAULT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20170221122447%26meid%3D486df4b5505d44a386c57d0c08b5e54a%26pid%3D100752%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D202576009625%26itm%3D202576000072&_trksid=p2047675.c100752.m1982 Same seller has white ones too
  7. It also says Adidas branding on hem which suggests its not MiC.….but they already sell customised 'authentics' on the site for $225, so who knows. Unless its just a placeholder for something else, I have no idea.
  8. Well Stars fans, now is your chance to score what I assume they are advertising as your MiC Stars jersey! Not 100% sure as some sizes are missing. Price is INSANE! http://hangarhockey.com/dallas-stars-adidas-custom-authentic-jersey/ Wow!
  9. Altitude Authentics, the Avs team store have home and away customizable jerseys. $240 I think, they have a website. I dare say the could hook you up with an A, otherwise any of the more well known jerseys customizers will sell you an A. Any local tailor should be able to sew it on. Denver Athletic customizes the Avs team jerseys, so if you want 100% accuracy, buy a blank and send it to them to be done. Not sure what they charge, but plenty of people have done it! They will sure fire get you an A too!

The Avs jersey looks the real deal to me, but the customisation is off. The 2's should have a flat top to the kicker at the bottom of the number as opposed to pointed, and obviously the name curve is too straight. Still, it's a decent job, apart from to some of us particular folk! Finding correctly done Avs due to the unique fonts is tough though if they're done outside of Denver Athletic!
  11. For what it’s worth, I think the authentic market is struggling because of the gamer market. With the large amount of game worn jerseys on the market from a large variety of sources, people can spend as little as $200/$300USD on a jersey worn by the guy they see on TV. Sheer volume of game worns available has pushed the prices down a lot. If buyers go that route they get an authentic jersey, 100% correct customisation, authentic patch if applicable and get to watch one of their teams guys play in it. If all that can be bought for such a little amount, then are buyers going to spend the same cash or more on effectively a shop bought item? I don’t think so, hence the low prices. I appreciate this viewpoint doesn’t hold for top players as values are higher, but would a jersey worn by a 3rd or 4th liner appeal more than an authentic with the same top guys name on the back everyone else in the rink has? It does to me, so it must to other people too. The Canucks were selling all the leftover game worn jerseys from last season for $200CAD, of which most of course included the 100th patch. Considering it usually runs way more than that just to get an authentic blank, I think that’s where the slow secondary market in authentics stems from.
  12. Thanks for the comments on the Falcons Canada jersey, been looking for a long time, glad to have found one! And yeah, it was shipped......economically! Those creases need to go!
