Incorrect customisation is not always an indication of a jersey being fake although in this case you could be right, it could be the lighting in that image but the fabric looks wrong in any event.

Yeah, cheers, I've spent an inordinate amount of time going through all those videos looking for clues. That 3rd video is totally MIA everywhere but the other "episodes" bookend that Stars game so I am pretty confident in slapping the A on there and the fonts being accurate based on a number of screen grabs I've sent to Keener. Thanks again for taking the time to assist and investigate. Now to get it done up and home to its TBTC brothers.

Update on above post, I have narrowed this down to the October 12th, 1991 game. Unfortunately there is zero footage on Youtube. Anyone got any ideas where I may be able to find some? Probert scores a goal so really hoping there is something out there I am missing. Thanks in advance.

Thread from the dead but does anyone know if there is a reference showing which dates / games the O6 teams wore the TBTC jerseys, specifically the Red Wings and even more specifically the Red Wings vs North Stars that season? I can narrow to 7 games, well 6 as Probert didn't play in the 14th March 1992 game. This relates specifically to fonts when Probie wore the A which this hockey card shows was against the North Stars. If I can nail the date I can narrow the search for game footage to confirm what my investigations thus far have shown of old footage when Probie did not wear the A which is different sleeve and rear number 2 fonts. Thanks in advance if anyone has anything.

FYI HockeyTown Authentics have been known to do incorrect customisation if you're a stickler for that kind of thing. They've put nameplates on jerseys for example. As @mdwsta4 said you'll need a CCM with the black and orange NHL shield on the hem. The eBay link above is accurate. The silver and black NHL shield on the hem is a later incarnation of CCM jerseys after the Wings used Nike for a few years. Just my experiences however Sports Haven can be a bit slow and Vintage Detroit Collection do indistinguishable customisation for Wings home / away jerseys. If it's just the one jersey you'll get it back same day in most instances from VDC.
