  1. I've been out of the jersey game for a long, long time and I've been slowly parting with what's left of my collection. I've got all my stuff up on eBay but no serious interest so I thought I'd try parting with everything here. I'm a full-time photographer now and after investing heavily in new gear over the past few months, I could use some extra cash in my pocket and my jerseys are really just taking up space. I'm only selling rare stuff that wasn't cheap to acquire or customize, so the prices might look high to some of you. Don't like the listed price? Make me an offer! I'll consider anything reasonable. Prices include shipping in the US. Canada/elsewhere pays actual shipping. Paypal as a gift/add fees or Venmo. Nike 2010 Olympics Team USA Ryan Callahan, blue size large. Pretty sure these were never available as authentics but someone can correct me if I'm wrong. Asking $250 shipped in the US. Customized by our very own Brilliant! aka Mike, who has always done a fantastic job. Nike 2010 Olympics Team Sweden Henrik Lundqvist, yellow size large. Also pretty sure these were never available as authentics and also customized by Brilliant! Also asking $250 shipped in the US. Buy this + Team USA Callahan for $400 shipped in the US. ***This is my absolute favorite jersey, so you may have a hard time negotiating this one down New York Rangers Ryan Callahan 85th Anniversary Heritage alternate, size XL. Purchased from MSG and has the "A" along with the retired numbers in the hem. Nameplate and numbers are stiched. Asking $200 shipped in the US. Finally, they're not hockey jerseys, but if anyone here is interested in MLB jerseys I've got my New York Yankees authentics that I'm considering parting with for the right price. All size 48, ***MUST BUY AS A LOT*** - I'm only interested in moving these if I sell them together. They're more valuable to me as a collection than they are individually, and my photography work presents me with opportunities to potentially get these signed and framed, so the only way I'd sell them is if you make an offer to buy all four of them together. Not actively shopping them, but if you blow me away you're welcome to have them. All size 48 and all customized by Brilliant! Russell Derek Jeter 1996 rookie home w/ WS patch + memorial armband Russell 2000 Jorge Posada home w/ WS patch + memorial armband Russell 2003 Mariano Rivera home w/ WS patch, AL 100 Seasons patch, American Flag patch + memorial armband Majestic 2008 Andy Pettite road w/ ASG patch, Yankee Stadium final season patch + memorial armband See photos here: http://s1203.photobucket.com/user/DropkickMurphy915/library/?sort=3&page=1 - baseball photos mostly on page 2 And while I'm here, I might as well pimp my business too. http://www.seanmurphyphotony.com
  2. Got to do it again lol. On the their tour with FFDP and Sixx AM in NJ. Great show, lots of pyro. Wait, I just realized you said shoot. You a photographer?
  3. Shinedown is awesome live, I photographed them on Carnival of Madness last month. Same with Goo Goo Dolls. Shinedown is doing an arena tour later this year with FFDP and Sixx AM, that's gonna be awesome.
  4. No, it definitely was Gigantour. I still have my shirt somewhere, they were on with In Flames, Children of Bodom, Job for a Cowboy and High on Fire, who surprisingly have a pretty large following now. As far as doing something about the noise level in small venues when you want to be close to the stage and not lose your hearing, I highly recommend Earasers. They're hi-fi musicians earplugs; I use them in the photo pit when I'm shooting because I'm right next to the main. They're awesome, they drown out the amps and speakers just enough that my ears don't ring and I can still enjoy the show while I'm shooting.
  5. I saw Disturbed once before the hiatus, but everything I've heard about them on their current tour is that they're killing it. I missed Breaking Benjamin on their acoustic tour earlier this year, so catching them with Disturbed and Alter Bridge would be cool as hell. I really only go to shows I'm attending as media now, so I can't really complain if a band isn't good because the label comps my tickets. Either way I'm sure it'll be a good show, Disturbed might even sound better outdoors because a lot of the smaller indoor venues aren't really mic'd well for a show that loud. Example: Megadeth in 2008. My ears still ring from that. Speaking of, they're announcing another North American tour with Amon Amarth, Metal Church and Havok tomorrow.
  6. Slipknot and Manson were solid. Of Mice & Men didn't really do much for me though. I've got 311 and possibly Coldplay next weekend; working on getting the Disturbed/Breaking Benjamin/Alter Bridge/Saint Asonia show at the end of the month, along with Carnival of Madness, Volbeat, Goo Goo Dolls and Blink 182. Might also see about Korn/Rob Zombie/In This Moment in Jersey. Best part is I won't pay for any of those shows.
  7. Totally saw Slipknot the other night: I love my job.
  8. Will you be throwing in one Jew dime for old time's sake?
  9. They can't be too pissed, I was in Philly over Veteran's Day weekend wearing a Rangers t-shirt and nobody bothered me. Seemed like the Flyers fans I encountered were indifferent at this point.
  10. Hey everyone, I've been gone for a long time, but I'm sure some of you hooligans remember me. I'm mostly out of the jersey business now, though I've still got some stuff hanging around. I'm currently in the process of trying to sell two of my Yankees jerseys (up on eBay but if anyone is interested, PM me and I'll let them go at a lower price) and I'm tossing around the idea of moving two of my hockey jerseys if there's enough value in them to make it worth my time. I've been out of the game so long that I don't have the slightest idea what a lot of my stuff is actually worth anymore, so I figured I'd ask here. Debating moving a Team Sweden Lundqvist and Team USA Callahan, both replicas from the 2010 Olympics and both in immaculate condition. Pictures are old, but the condition of both jersey is identical. I'm totally fine with holding on to both of these if there isn't enough value to be worth it, but I'm heavy into concert photography now (and am actually waiting to find out if I'm getting in with Slipknot next week) and if I can fund a new lens by moving some of my rarer stuff, I'd consider it. So, what can I realistically expect to get if I wanted to move those?
  11. Sooooo, I know I haven't posted in a long time, but I couldn't resist celebrating the Rangers landing Eric Staal for basically nothing. A couple draft picks and a prospect out Finland. I was just thinking this morning about what it would take for us to get him, and now he's ours. I really like this move for the Rangers. We needed help with Nasher out and when he comes back, these two on a line together could be crazy.
  12. Hey hooligans! Almost forgot about this place, thought I'd drop in and see what's going on after quite a long time. I guess i'll randomly update an old thread like a toolbox! My original list: Beastie Boys (first concert, it was AWESOME) Megadeth/Children of Bodom/In Flames (Gingatour) AC/DC! The Answer (opened for AC/DC, and they've become one of my favorite bands) Saliva Creed Jethro Tull RUSH x2 Disturbed/Korn/Sevendust (Music as a Weapon) Motley Crue Iron Maiden/Alice Cooper coming up in June Add to that: Fleetwood Mac Joe Walsh & Bob Seger Slash with Myles Kennedy Aerosmith Black Sabbath Queen with Adam Lambert (awesome!) Motley Crue X2 (in addition to the first time) AC/DC for the 2nd time and soon to be 3rd Nightwish X3, once with Kamelot, twice with Delain, once with Sabaton and the most recent was Friday at Starland on opening night with Sonata Arctica. The Sheepdogs with Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, who are opening for AC/DC on this tour. Epica All That Remains with Devour The Day, Audiotopsy and Sons of Texas Graveyard and Spiders This Saturday I'm at the Sumerian Records 10th Anniversary show with Born of Osiris and Veil of Maya, among others. 3/1 I'll be at Helloween, 3/3 I'm either at The Struts or Wolfmother, 3/6 is Killswitch, 3/8 is Cradle of Filth, and 3/17 might be Megadeth with Children of Bodom. Fun fact: I'm in the photo business now, and one of the things I do is live music photography. All the bands listed above with dates next to them are shows I'm covering, and consequently seeing for free. I was also lucky enough to photograph Nightwish at Starland on opening night, along with the ATR, Graveyard, Epica and Sheepdogs shows. I might be covering AC/DC on closing night at MSG as well. Hope all the old guard around here is doing well, I still get emails from the threads I followed way back when; maybe I'll check in from time to time.
