  1. For that particular item I probably would have countered at 375, because after fees I'd still be pushing where I wanted to end up. Off of ebay, I probably would have gone down a bit more, maybe 325-330.

  2. I thought I was being reasonable, and was willing to engage in a reasonable back and forth, until he decided to be unreasonable. If I had started the item price at $400 for example, his offer probably would have never made it over $100, and probably would have started at $50, because he didn't want to be reasonable.

  3. I had another item, listed $599.95 OBO. Had a guy offer me $100. I countered at $500. He countered at $200. I countered at $400. He countered at $200.01. I declined. Then a month or two later he comes back and says "Didn’t seem to work for $600. $100 seems fair." and offers me the $100 again. I don't even bother countering now.

Has anybody come across any team customizers that have the new namebars that match the material of the new Adidas MIC jerseys? I’ve picked up another Canucks MIC at the year-end sale and would like to get the Adidas material for the namebar on this one....

Honestly, not even sure the teams customizers themselves have access to the right material, just looking at some of the players on TV.

HA!! A Grrrrrrrrowl jersey!! I remember seeing the Titans play them many times back in the day. Tony the Tiger's favorite team too.

    That's Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrawful.

  6. As far as I know they don't have accurate kits for that far back, nobody does. They were lost years ago when a computer died, I believe at Cosby's. Cosby's used to have the 90s CCM fonts, but the guy retired and took them with him or used the last remaining copies he was keeping on customers jerseys before he retired. Your best bet is probably finding accurate pictures of the player you're trying to get done, and sending it to Keener.

If I remember correctly, he’s actually in Germany, but has a connection in CA to help him with shipping.

Interesting. His ebay has him as being in San Jose. Maybe he knows Paul. I'll shoot him a message.

So the devils letter font is different this season from last year.

which customizer did they use last year? and does anyone know why they changed?

I believe they went from EPS to Philly Express? I'm sure someone will confirm.

The GW stuff is normally washed but sometimes specialty jerseys like these are packed up as soon as the sweat dries. Hagg’s Lindros retirement night jersey stank. IDGAF, I just washed it. Looks exactly the same and smells delicious now.

Only problem you ever have with that, especially with retirement night jerseys like that, is that they can tend to be signed. That's the worst.

  10. Since we're on the topic of shipping... I was told last week by USPS that you can't put any additional insurance on jerseys going overseas anymore. I tried to ship a jersey to London, and to Germany, and was told that you only get the standard amount of insurance (which varies by country), and can't pay for extra. Has anybody else been told this, or did I just deal with an employee who doesn't know what they're doing?
