  1. You would be correct sir, it does look re-crested. I never looked past the first picture. My apologies.

Three ways aren't always easy so a big thanks to all who made it possible. The jersey is just a few pages back (157). Didn't want Slim to think I was double posting pictures and receive the death ban!

So as annoying as it may be, double quoting pictures will get you banned for life, but a stupid racist comment sparks your curiosity. Way to go Slim, way to go.
  5. Not sure...The jersey I am talking about was a gold durene that I saw at Staples when Meigray had an exhibit last season. I didn't notice if it also had Goodman's tagging.
  6. I thought I read there was going to be an original 67-68 Kings in the auction. To add to your list, I have seen a late 60's Kings jersey made by Rawlings.
  7. From Jeff "Are they 100% perfect? No, but my 99% rate shows they are a hell of a lot better than you guys make them out to seem or could ever, ever hope to do yourselves pleasing customers as picky as you guys are." I laughed my arse off when I read this. I am also very happy for you that you have had great success with EPS, but for me they have been a complete joke. I have sent in pictures of gamers, virtual blueprints on what the fonts should look like, what size they should be and spacing. Yet not one Kings jersey I have sent them has even been remotely correct. Worse is the response you get when you attempt to get the jerseys corrected. Jeff, I Have seen some of your Kings jerseys when photobucket was around and I have to tell you they were incorrectly customized. If EPS did those jerseys for you then maybe your eye on detail isn't as good as it should be, at least for Kings jerseys. I am not trying to pick on you Jeff and maybe you are the lucky one, but there IS a reason this thread exists.

I don't post much anymore but had to log on for this one. Amazing jersey!

Posted this jersey about six months or so ago. I showed how I cut the bottom gold layer from the jersey to make it more accurate and fit better. Mitchell and Ness jerseys are cut like dresses. The finished product. I am sure only a hand few of you have even heard of this player. A mid 70's home Tom Williams, one of my favorite Kings when I first started going to games.
  10. I have this book and as a jersey collector it is definitely worth my 25 dollars. There are some great jerseys from all eras and leagues. My favorite and only Kings jersey in the book is the Bob Pulford gold durene with the captains C. The book is by no means all inclusive, but has a nice assortment of jerseys to look at.

I have stripped several jerseys that EPS lettered for me and there were no "marks" under the letters. However, they do a heavy press job on the letters before they stitch and that leaves quite a bit of glue residue. Took a lot of patience and elbow grease to strip the jerseys clean.
  12. Hakan Loob. One of the greatest sports names, ever. Do it!

Jersey was prepared for the 04-05 season but unfortunately there was a lockout. Jersey was used for the 05-06 seasons and an additional tag was added
  14. Gordie! 88-89? Yes, answered my own question. The interwebs are a beautiful thing. Beautiful jerseys Mike.
  15. You and Johnnyonthespot must like to wear your jerseys form fitting. I am 6'2" 220lbs and there is no edge jersey that is too big...except the width of the sleeves on a goalie cut. In the CCM/Koho era before the edges only a 58 is too big, and I would still and have worn them. Prior to the mid 90's I have yet to find a gamer that is too big and in fact the opposite is true, they are usually too small. I absolutely wear my gamers. So much so I only have a couple of authentics left for rainy nights and subway trips to the game.
  16. I think the drugs are starting to kick in on the second photo.
  17. Quick was still at U Mass in 06/07. I have purchased from the Monarchs before. Advertised as game issued, but when my Martinez jersey arrived it was obviously game used. They were nice enough to send out a new LOA for me. Point being they aren't always accurate in their descriptions.
  18. That has to be the second set SCF jersey that was suppossed to be retained by the players. How does that end up on ebay so fast, or even at all? Carters jersey was going for 2750 if I remember correctly, so yes, 1900 was a steal.
  19. Finished up a small project today. A coworker gave me a Mitchel and Ness Kings jersey in honor of the Kings winning the Cup. I can't say no to a gift but I really don't like M&N jerseys. They are inaccurate and are cut way too long. I took the jersey to my local tailor and had them create a new bottom hem so the purple stripe was the bottom color. Not only did that take care of most of the inaccuracies, but it also took about 4-5 inches off the length of the jersey. I think it turned out great and this will become a Tommy Williams. Before After
  20. I feel your pain, I really do. The only thing I can say is... GAMERS.

You win the Cup and they still can't get your name right, unbelievable. Alex? Forget the fact that it is fake.
