  1. Keep in mind too that money received via Paypal as F&F does not show up on the 1099-MISC that Paypal sends you at year end. That's one reason why some sellers are strictly accepting F&F... although they really should have documentation of what they bought the jersey for. In the end, most of us just wash out on profit/loss when moving stuff, I believe.
  2. Thanks. They would, and I've considered that, but wanted to ask here beforehand since I wasn't sure if anyone may cut up one of those jerseys to make nameplates for the Penguins alternates.
  3. Does anyone happen to have a pair of light blue Reebok Vector or Wordmark patches from a stripped practice jersey? Looking to 'backdate' a blank Admirals jersey, but has CCM tagging on it. Photos for reference:
  4. That was fast! Glad we were able to find the info to make it happen.
  5. Does anyone have the light blue "Reebok" wordmark patches as seen on the back side of NHL/AHL practice jerseys? Looks similar to this:
  6. Long time without a post, but after seeing a TON of Made in Indonesia Blackhawks Winter Classic style 'Authentics' on ebay of late, decided to stop at the nearby Marshalls here in Illinois. In hindsight, based on the ebay seller with 15 WC jerseys for sale in my town, I was obviously late. But... they didn't look on the Big & Tall Rack and I was able to score a Size 60 white Adidas Hawks practice jersey, Made in Canada. Complete with standard non-retail tagging at the end of the sleeve. Out the door at $18.50 after tax... can't complain!
  7. Sweet! That's as beautiful as it gets. Glad I was able to help you out and it got done!
  8. But when were they reaching out to consignors? For an auction to go live, they need to first receive the jerseys, document/photograph and prepare everything else. If all of this started mid-March thru April, I don't think any of us expected the boom of sales that we've seen of late. Is it possible that by the time they could compile enough to give a run, they thought it would be too close to the fall auction?
  9. Love the Manny! Would love to know the other Wings shirts you have as I always liked the Wings IHL shirts.

Should be an easy match, there's quite a few pics of him in the black jersey on Getty.

    DEALS AND STEALS

As mentioned on FB, the 50 year patched jerseys were worn in the preseason as evidenced by the nameplates. At the end of the 2016/17 season, the Kings sold these for $300 each and was discussed on here. I ended up with a Quick that I photomatched to every preseason since they introduced that style jersey. That being said, they had some players like Ben Bishop who were acquired during the season, so I have no idea what that jersey was other than possibly a GI.
  12. Sigh, that's par for the course on Admirals jerseys. Are the sleeve numbers aligned? On a couple of the regular season jerseys, the double-digit numbers are offset from each other by at least 1/4". (Sent you a PM as well.)

Plus Paypal will take their fees from that tax $ too, so you're out a little extra.
  14. For one, that's my photo. For two, I take offense at the assumption that I added the patch. Why would an individual add a patch that was never worn in a game to a game-worn jersey? That would hurt the value of the jersey itself. Spudrock is 100% correct. The jersey above had light but visible wear from the playoffs that was able to be photomatched to a couple trading cards the next season. In addition to the playoff jerseys for returning players, there were also mint GI made up for new players who were not on the team during the previous year.
