Alot depends on where in front the strap is located and its length. Both my Kassian Aeros and Maxwell Moose jerseys have them, but the Kassian is at the bottom hem while the Maxwell is sewn into the crest higher up. The Maxwell strap isn't even noticeable when worn because it sits where the crest is, which gets in the way just as much.

Awesome! Have one of his Houston Aeros jerseys, absolutely hammered. Looked like he was going to be NHLer by this time but hasn't seemed to pan out with injuries of late. When he's on though, he's a beast.

Nice to see its the real deal, but why cant PSA put the hologram somewhere less noticeable, like on the fight strap? Seems so distracting and tacky IMO

Both Express were purchased directly from the owner (former owner?) of the team. Paquette came late in the season so only had a Set 2 jersey.

20 alternates are given as SOTB night in the last regular season game, I found someone who didn't want theirs (or more accurately, wanted money more). Supposedly, you can "buy" a jersey for a donation equivalent to what the team figures they can raffle it off for ($400-$1000), but not sure what players you can actually get for $400, maybe Karel Pilar?

That CHL/CCM combo goes back to 1988/89 actually, but I think the early years of those patches had a blue/orange combo on the CCM.

Barring an Admirals/WBS final, you'll never see them. The Eastern teams are too cheap/poor to afford travel out to the West.

Typically specialty jerseys are only worn for 1 or 2 games. Can't help anymore than that... did you do a search to see if the team made a Press Release regarding the jerseys and when they were to be worn?

I would say it depends on the wear. If you can determine that the First Goal actually has wear, I'd get that, otherwise all things being equal (aka both looking mint), I'd take the patched one.

Love the pickup, that puckmark on the shoulder is solid! I'll have to get pics of mine up eventually.
