  1. I'd like to preface my statement by saying that I realize all of you spend a ton of money getting your jerseys done and want your jerseys to be perfect in every way, shape or form. Reality is that if this happened on a game jersey, it would have gone to the team in that same manner as what your jersey was sent to you. Sometimes the twill has an inconsistency/flaw in it that isn't seen or caught along the way. It happens, and usually, IF it is caught, it's too late to redo it as the teams need their stuff. I know this isn't what most want to hear, however, it is reality.
  2. So you're saying the Leafs are amateurs eh?
  3. Team LA has their own source for lettering/numbering and doesn't want to change would be my guess. All I know is that the end result is brutal.
  4. Was at the game last night vs Tampa and cannot believe how brutal the Team LA jerseys are lettered/numbered.
  5. I can tell you that they've had a run on NHL and AHL jerseys for the various teams they service. Just LA Kings alone, I know that they have five sets of Stadium Series jerseys, plus, Legends NIghts jerseys that they are putting together. They had several teams do last minute Valentines Day jerseys, so, that's all be going on there. Also, nobody there smokes, so, not to worry. They've got good staff working there to sign for your packages.
  6. There are two reds. There is a red for Minny and Montreal, and then a red for all other teams using the color. The link you show appears to be the correct one.
  7. You may want to chalk it up to experience, remove the fight strap in case you need it on another jersey or to sell, cut some nameplates out of the back fabric (same on 1.0/2.0), and call it a day!
  8. I completely disagree on the size. We order from AK weekly for our clients and they are nothing but dead on. AK's product is far more consistent than others (they even knit their fabric in-house!) and their customer service is outstanding!
  9. Heat pressed for placement and then stitched.
  10. Reebok will only rebrand if the NHL allows them to.
  11. Doughty Premier All Star Jersey as delivered to LAK this morning. No nameplate. Team logo on sleeve also sublimated.
  12. And if you recall from the SS game last year, Team LA ordered 2.0s as their authentic. CCM is on all of the AHL jerseys this season. Nothing new...
  13. They had one deal fall through already and a second is in the works... SP does it all the time for CCM, making many AHL and ECHL game jerseys with CCMs logo on them.SP can make EDGE style jerseys as well.
  14. FloKnit is a name that was given to that fabric by SP, however, it can be found under other names. We use a material on our jerseys that is exactly the same as CCM/Reebok's "air knit" yet my supplier calls it "air mesh". Athletic Knit's fabric is the same and they call theirs AK-Knit.
  15. I'm not 100% certain, however, heard that the monies from the sale of the jerseys are being donated to Teemu's foundation, in lieu of a gift. Not saying inflated pricing is right or wrong, however, if the market can withstand the asking price, then so be it. Each of us chooses whether we want or don't want to make that specific purchase.
  16. Not sure if Wild Wing jersey or Winnipeg wearing Selanne 13 tribute jerseys were best part of the "jersey" portion of the night...
  17. What about the two different fonts on the 22 jersey (the 2s on front and sleeves are different from the back)
  18. In that case, buy yourself a serger and get to work!
  19. FYI, nameplates from CCM come serged. Or, what if you don't know Serge?
  20. It's most likely more than $5 each.
  21. Nike does them for all of the teams and sets up shop at each event, fixing jerseys, replacing letters, numbers, etc.
