  1. Are those Edge or Premier? Does the sizing seem to run the same as the regular jerseys?
  2. I am 6' 265 pounds. I have an Edge 1.0 size 60 and an Edge 2.0 team issued size 58. Both fit well, but are just a tad long in the sleeves. I wanted to get one of the new Edge Winter Classic jerseys which are 2.0. I can only find them in size 56 or 60. I am worried that if I get the 56, the torso will be too tight. Does anyone know the difference between the 56 and 58 2.0? Can I get away with the 56 or should I just get the 60?

    It is good or not?

Thanks, there are replica Bruins Winter Classic fakes floating around which is probably because they never released an Edge version of it that year. Usually they are pretty obvious with them having a fight strap and crest being off but I figured I should get a second opinion to be safe.

Is this Bruins Winter Classic legit?

    DEALS AND STEALS

This seems to be a really good deal to me if you can get it for close to the asking bid price. You really can not find Bruins "Made in Canada" Edge 1.0 or 2.0 for less than $300 these days. Also customization was done by custom crafted. I would be considering it myself except a size 50 in the Edge is way too small for me. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Boston-Bruins-Pro-Authentic-Edge-NHL-Center-Ice-Jersey-ccm-fight-strap-50-sewn-/290856589466?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item43b867589a

    eBay version 3.0

Ya, especially since the retail Blackhawk 2.0's are now available for $300. I just bought a Bruins 2.0 for $325 from him that he has listed for $450, but in that case he was accepting best offers. I can see asking for a premium in cases like the Bruins where the retail 2.0's are not out yet.
  7. Just saw these...they sure are hideous!

    Bruins Dilema

Thanks everyone for your honest feedback. I am new to jersey collecting and am just getting the hang of what is considered acceptable and what is considered a "jersey foul". Anyway, I am going to put this project on hold as I decided to bite the bullet and shell out $325 for a Bruins Edge team issued 2.0 that I managed to find. Certainly not cheap, but it was only a small premium to what the price tag will be for retail Bruins 2.0's if/when they eventually come out. I will probably revisit the Neely vintage idea later on this year.
  9. Anyone know how the Bruins Replica Winter Classics fit? Are they pretty close to a regular Reebok Premier fit or do they run bigger?

Is there a seller you can recommend that has them? I have looked around and I have only seen replicas from the 80'/90's Bruins styles.

    Bruins Dilema

Thanks for the feedback. I think your third point was the deal breaker...I suppose I was trying to talk myself into it. PS-I had heard of the Neely ultrafil custom jersey construction vs. air knit story before. Supposedly it was because his arm got caught on an air knit sleeve once during a fight and ever since that fight he refused to wear air knit jerseys. Don't think I would personally be that picky as long as the jersey style and lettering matched. At least at one point he did wear air knit...

    Bruins Dilema

I have only had authentics so far(A 6100 & an Edge 1.0), so I get the feeling the Maska is not going to be heavy enough for my liking. Plus if you are saying they run small that could be a problem for me since they just have XL left. Problem is to get exactly what I want will likely cost way more than I want to spend. Does having the vector logo vs. the CCM on the 6100 really make that big of a deal? I think I could live with it since I would be getting an authentic for less than $200.

    Bruins Dilema

I have given up on the idea of getting another Bruins Edge 2.0 for now as they are just not out there and the ones that are cost over $450. So I thought why not get a Cam Neely jersey since he was my favorite player growing up. There are options out there, but ideally I want to stay under $200. 1. I can get a 6100 series of the style that Neely wore his last season in the league. However it is rebranded as Reebok with the Vector and the CCM would not be there at the bottom like what Neely actually wore. Not sure how big of a deal that really is. Jersey I would get: Real Jersey from Neely's last season: 2. I can get something like a Maska Replica of the sweater that Neely wore for most of his career and what he is identified more with. Problem is I do not have any idea how good those Maska Replica jerseys really were. I understand that they are much better than the Reebok replicas of today but how would they compare to the authentic 6100 series? I am leaning towards option #1, but I wanted to throw it out there to see what people thought.
  14. Went to the Bruins Pro Shop at TD Garden the other day and all they had were Premier and Indo-Edge. The guy I talked to had not idea if/when they would be getting any Made in Canada authentics(either 1.0 or 2.0).
  15. I want to get another authentic Bruins Jersey, but can't find one anywhere. I have a home 6100 version and a road 7187, but now I want to get a home Edge 2.0 because that is the current style. Can't find one anywhere and I do not want to settle for an Indo-Edge. I can get a Game Issued Jersey from MeiGray for a scrub player for like $250 and try to strip it, but I have not done that before and I do not know how difficult it would be. Anyone have any news on when the Bruins 2.0 Canada made jerseys are coming or would you go the game issued route I mentioned?
