  1. My latest Flyers MIC... everyone's new favorite player... Carter Hart!
  2. I wore my Adidas MIC Flyers to the game last night and went into the store at the end of the game to take a look at the SS jerseys in person. While I think the jerseys themselves look nicer in person than they do in pictures, man... I tried one on to see if I could handle getting an Indo eventually, since the MIC SS will be astronomical. It's just such an unbelievable difference. I'm glad I tried one on, because now I don't think I'll buy one even if they go to 50% off... I'll just wait it out until I can possibly eventually get an MIC, cuz... just no.
  3. I like the Adidas jerseys. I prefer the Reebok Edge 2.0 for sure. Kiss cut numbers... as a fan, I feel like they're more likely to get wrinkled and need to be ironed more.
  4. Well... at the time I sent this off to be customized I was excited about it. With holidays and such, Philly Xpress was pretty backed up so it took a while and this season is basically a lost cause now. Not saying I wanna get rid of this, but it limited the excitement a bit I guess.
  5. I got my Pens ones just probably about a week and a half, maybe two weeks ago.
  6. I believe they stopped selling them at the games several years ago. So now the only way to get them is through Game Worn/Issued jerseys.
  7. Glad I'm not the only one. Total scumbag that just wants to have a "popular thread" by using a guy's death.
  8. Did you manage to snag some Stars authentic patches? Cuz the National Emblem ones aren't the rubbery ones the team actually wore.
  9. Amazingly... both the home and away already sold for that... Insanity.

It's not necessarily "proof" of anything more than that one individual seller. I personally don't list my items for THAT much more than I'm willing to accept. Sorta like you said "the unknown aspect is the seller." So this isn't exactly "proof" except for that specific seller. Otherwise it would be "proof" that 50% IS "lowballing" because, I, as a seller, said so, lol. It's only one source, is my point, I guess.
  11. Authentic ones were never made available to the public, and they were adamant that they never would be, as they only wanted them to be worn by the team. That said, like others have said, there are good reproductions out there. Depending on which jersey you're doing up, though, there are some important specifics. Home, 50th, and Stadium Series - all had an embroidered Snider patch all season Away - had a screen printed patch for Sets 1 and 2 (so if you're doing it WITHOUT the 100th patch, the Snider patch should be screen printed) Hall of Fame Game - obviously you'd need the Hall of Fame patch as well, which isn't available, but that specific game had an embroidered Snider patch as well If you truly want an authentic patch, look into a Meigray GI that could be stripped and just use the patch from that.

Personally, if someone is insultingly low with their offer, I'd consider not responding and just leave the offer hanging out there... it presents an opportunity for another buyer to see "Offer pending" and get more serious about what they want to offer, since I may accept the initial offer from the other buyer. More often than not, though, I respond and take a penny off of the asking price. If someone doesn't want to be serious with their first offer, I'm not going to be serious with mine, lol
  13. Hmm, hadn't noticed that. Think it's fake? Or would they have just used a random backing for a prototype patch? Either way it's a cool piece, but good to know either way.
  14. Anyone who knows me knows how much I loved the Flyers 2010 run... so I really couldn't help myself when I saw this on eBay last week.
  15. I feel so fortunate at how many things had to line up for this one... from winning the auction at a very reasonable price, to the jersey being my size, to the numbers being covered up by the player I wanted (due to glue residue)... just so stoked to have this back. Started like this: Now looks like this: There's the tiniest bit of glue residue on one sleeve that didn't get covered, but it's honestly not that noticeable. I now have a home/away set of Flyers Adidas MIC's, and feel super lucky.
  16. Aren't you EPS's best customer? Surely they've told you when to send your next box of 20 haha.
  17. I'll say "clean enough." I honestly didn't worry too much because I used previously stripped numbers to make sure that everything would be covered with the #19, and it all will. But no, all of the glue did not come off. I'll note, I didn't use any chemicals on it though. All I did was hit it with an iron through a t-shirt (I don't seem to get glue off that way all that much though). For the top parts of the 5 that I needed to clean up, I used a towel and rubbed it after hitting it with the iron and was able to get that off that way, but I was worried about damaging the material if I kept going too much.
  18. I tend to agree, I'm just really reluctant to use it based on some of the previous posts with the Penguins jerseys, and how I've seen the colors run on these jerseys. Kinda don't want to have to wash it too many times.
  19. So I decided to be the guinea pig for the Flyers jerseys. Stripping a Carnival Lehtera #15 and covering it with a Patrick #19. Really only two nervous areas: - Getting the Carnival patch off - The top corners of each #5, the #9 will cover the rest of it First, I went for the patch... Aside from two really tiny glue spots, that came off really clean. I was worried about damage to the dimples, but they seem fine: The numbers were not as forgiving, and definitely left some glue residue. I've hit this with an iron and a t-shirt, with not much luck. Rubbing the glue after hitting it with the iron through the t-shirt seems to break it down a little bit, and like I said, I'm really only worried about the top corners of the #5, so overall... this is gonna work out ok for me, but I dunno that I'd want to try it again.
  20. This is giving me such anxiety seeing these pictures. Has anyone stripped a Flyers jersey yet? I know someone (mfitz?) stripped a Devils jersey, which is also Philly Xpress customization... they didn't use much glue right? I know they haven't used much glue on Flyers jerseys in the past. I have a #15 that I'll likely be changing to a #19, so just the top corners of the #5 need to come off SUPER clean, the rest will be covered. And at least it's an orange jersey... definitely won't strip a white one for a long time until someone else goes first.
  21. This isn't true, at least for the Flyers. There are definitely players wearing 52's this year.
  22. Shoot... missed out on the sale for the jersey.
