I started out a Gretzky fan. I was at a friends house and he wanted to watch the Blackhawks game and they were playing the Kings. I got hooked and started watching mostly Kings games (not really a Kings fan, just Gretzky). Living near Chicago I followed the Hawks a little, but for whatever reason I just didn't get into them. And they had good teams with players I liked (Roenick & Chelios). Then one day during Lindros's rookie year I caught a Flyers game. I took a liking to Recchi and Lindros and then became a diehard Flyers. I remained a Flyers fan for over 10 years until the lockout. Afterwards, the games were on Vs not ESPN and the Flyers had a lot of turnover on their roster and it was just too hard for me to follow them. So, I basically quit watching hockey for a couple of years. I got back into hockey a little when I heard the Hawks had some exciting young players (Toews and Kane, etc.). But it was the last winter olympics that got me fully gung-ho about hockey again. After watching the Olympics I started following the Hawks full time and that's how I became a Blackhawks fan.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I really hate the pre-meditated fights at the drop of the puck. I'm getting to the point were I wish they'd just ban fighting altogether. The majority of fights aren't worth watching anyway. There's only a few good fights a year. Also, it just seems pointless. Fighting does nothing to either score a goal or prevent your opponent from scoring which is what teams should be trying to accomplish.

Very true. Although, Sound of White Noise is a really good album. "Only" was the one Bush era song I always wanted to hear Joey sing and I got to hear him at the show I went to...and he completely butchered it.

As much as I pay for these things, yes I wear them. I'll wear them around town as well. However, if I ever get my dream man-cave then I'll probably start framing some of my favorite Blackhawks jerseys.

The best bands I've seen: Iron Maiden Primus Anthrax w/Joey Megadeth During the late 90's I saw a lot of "punk" bands like Pennywise and Bad Religion I'm still holding out hope I get to see Faith No More at some point in my life.

Great collection. Love the Maddux jersey, but makes me a little sad knowing he spent his prime in Atlanta. I haven't bought a Cubs jersey in a long time. I've been thinking of getting a new one, just not sure who to get yet. I might wait to see if Fred Jackson or Rizzo turn out any good. I thought about Castro, but the last time I bought a jersey was Mark Prior...then he started to get hurt and was out of baseball in no time at all.

I always wished I had a chance to see a Hawks, or even a Bulls game, and the old stadium but never had a chance. The only arenas I've been to are the United Center (Chicago) and Detroit.

You could pass for Campbell's brother. I wish he was back with the Hawks.

Roberto Luongo is at the top of my love to hate list, followed by the Sedin's. I always hated Carcillo and was disappointed when the Blackhawks signed him. I don't typically get happy when a player is injured, but Carcillo tearing his acl was an exception. Hopefully his not back with the Hawks next year. After that, there's really not too many players.

The Canucks jerseys are one of my favorites (I hate the team though). I wish they would let both teams wear their color jersey's if the colors are different enough. For example, it would have been cool to see the Leafs in their blue jerseys and the Blackhawks in their red. Although, this would probably be a logistics mess for the teams to keep what they are supposed to wear straight.

I love it when he yawns during the press conferences. At first I didn't like his attitude, but the more I see of it the more I like his don't give a bleep attitude. Also didn't like that he looked like the second coming of Rex Grossman his first year with the Bears, but he's really improved the last couple of years. The Bears have a lot of room under the cap. Hopefully they'll get him a #1 like Vincent Jackson and a #2 receiver as well. And about 2-3 new linemen.
