Hi, Apologies in advance if this has already been asked. I've never attempted stripping customizations from a jersey, and have read some good tips here and elsewhere I'm a little nervous about attempting it. The jersey in question is an CCM Ultrafil pro jersey from the late '80's/early 90's. The color is black with gold letters on the back, and sleeves are gold with black letters (penguins). I don't intend to re-customize it ... i was thinking to leave it blank. I was wondering with this style jersey if it's likely that there will be some faint traces of the customization if i leave it blank or if it's really not a good idea to do this unless i planned on putting a new set of numbers/name plate on it to cover up the old work. I'm also a bit nervous about damaging the ultrafil so any other tips stripping from this material would be appreciated. Thanks

interesting. these are the first i've come across in this size. thanks for confirming they were legit sizes back then and other teams were available. I'm a small frame person so the small size isn't an issue. Mine are both road/black Penguins and apparently from the same year (ultrafil embroidered crest with gold toe, so i believe that makes them from 1989-90 (first half)). maybe i'll get lucky and find a white one

I recently got a couple of old authentic CCM jerseys...i think they're from 1989/1990 Anyway, the jerseys are size 38; i've never heard of such a size in a pro jersey. The smallest CCM pro jersey I thought was was a 48, although i have seen some size 44. Anyone heard of a pro size 38?

Anyone know where i can find an edge 2.0 2017 Penguins stadium series jersey? I saw one selller on ebay, but i'm specifically looking for size 46 non-customized. It seems there aren't many places selling authentic jerseys anymore. I used to collect more back in the late 90's early 2000's and online shops carried both authentic and replicas (Rivercity, ice jerseys, etc). It seems most places just carry the premier jerseys now...it's a shame. Thanks!

Thanks for the info guys. I'm not familiar with the gameworn auction site. Is that a good place to list it? Other places you can recommend? For other things I usually use ebay but fees are crazy these days.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I agree the jersey is somewhat rare as it was only used for a few seasons and is 30+ years old. As for condition, it's in nice condition. You can tell it was worn as there are minor marks here and there but no significant rips or tears. Player is #30 Roberto Romano. I am considering selling but wasn't sure what to ask or what to expect if I send to auction. If not that much I may just keep it.

Hi, I hope this is the right section for the question, please forgive me if it's not. I have a game worn Penguins jersey from the early 80's. It's the gold jersey they wore for 3 seasons from 81-82 through 83-84. Any idea what it's worth? I've probably had it for around 20 years and have no idea what it may be worth these days. I'm happy to see them bring back this jersey. I really hope they bring back the white one as their road jersey and gold one as their third just like the early '80s. I actually liked this style jersey in blue color scheme also.... like they wore in the late 70s right before switching to black and gold. Those were much better than the other blue jerseys they've been wearing more recently as third jerseys. I know it's will never happen but would like to see those '77-'79 jerseys come back some day. You think it's too much for a team to wear 5 different jerseys LOL.

Hi, I'm looking for info on the 2014 Stadium Series jerseys. Did Reebok ever produce an Edge version of these jerseys or just Premier? The reason I ask is because there is a seller on ebay right now that has some Edge 2.0 Stadium jerseys and claims they are authentic and that you can't find them anywhere else. The one I'm looking at is the Penguins jersey but i think he has other teams. Pretty high price tag on these and want to get input before purchasing anything. Thanks.

Penguins. I believe they are wearing Edge 2.0's. Does it matter though, as they seem to be selling Indo Edge Penguins jerseys and 2.0's are very hard to find. Assuming Penguins wear 2.0's next year I'm wondering if they may become more readily available or if i will be stuck with an Indo Edge

There are a couple of authentic jerseys I want to buy, and I was thinking of waiting until next season when more start becoming available. What I'm wondering though is what will the "authentics" be going forward? Will Reebok offer real authentics like the players wear online, or will the only "authentics" for sale be Indo-edge which are not really authentic in my book? My other option is to buy a couple of 1.0 jerseys as there are a few still hanging around at a couple stores online. I was hoping to not get 1.0, but if i have to i would prefer that over indo edge. I guess it comes down to what will made available as "authentic" by Reebok going forward. If it's indo edge I would like to know asap as I doubt the 1.0's will be around much longer. Any idea what the plans are for the authentic line going forward?

Looking for Penguins 2002-2007 style authentic, both home and away.
