  1. Looking for a Teemu Selanne Anaheim MIGHTY Ducks authentic jersey. Preferably white and Nike.
  2. Backstrom got dizzy and hoped for the best. XD He should be checked for symptoms of a concussion, since his brain was probably swiftly flying from side to side, hitting the inside of his head, the entire time.
  3. Being that I am born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, I grew up around the fact that the Montreal Canadiens were not a religion - they were more than that. Myself, I was more into playing hockey, than watching it. So, while most kids were at home watching the game, I was on the pond, playing it. I was a hockey fan, first and foremost - period. Still am. But, when I would watch hockey, I found myself attracted to teams who played a different style of hockey than the Habs, and most teams in their Conference; I loved watching the West. Teams like, San Jose, Detroit and Vancouver. The only Eastern team I'd watch, were the Pens, but that's because I idolized Mario Lemieux, from the get-go. So, being a big Western Conference follower, and HUGE The Mighty Ducks franchise lover, it's not hard to see how I immediately felt a connection with that team, when they made their way into the NHL. I mean, owned by Disney, the same name and jerseys as in the movies, playing at Arrowhead "Pond" and taking in the cartoon Wild Wing as their mascot - too perfect! Not to mention, I loved watching Paul Kariya play and when Teemu Selanne was signed, and they became one of the best duos in the NHL, at the time, it was like magic to me. And even so, I refused to become a "fan" of the team. I wanted to remain an unbiased hockey fan, who watched a few games, here and there, and didn't let the fact that they lived in this city, dictate who they were going to root for, for the rest of their life; a rarity, in Montreal. In-fact, I only decided to finally pledge my devout allegiance to the Ducks, at the beginning of this season. Way after they won the cup and were sold by Disney. Way after Kariya was gone and so were the old logos/uniforms. Basically, way after I had grown up, and wanted to love a team, without any outside factors influencing the decision. Until this season, I had always had a special place in my heart for the Ducks. I even rooted for them, throughout the playoffs, that year when they hoisted up Lord Stanley, for the first time. Now, I'm proud to call myself a fan; regardless of their place in the standings. And I'm happy I waited so long, before doing so. The fact that I decided to finally be a Ducks fan, this year, is why I'm on these boards, today. I wanted my first Ducks jersey and didn't want to get duped, so I found you guys. I apologize for the lengthy post; it's just that I felt the thread title and my story, went well together, and it feels good to finally tell it to people (aside from those closest to me) who might just be able to relate.
  4. Thanks for the feedback, gang. I actually wasn't planning on getting it, since I had already found mine; just posting it up for discussion. Not to mention, I too noticed how low the positioning of the name and number were, on the back, and thought the "A", looked rather fishy, also.
  5. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Authentic-Anaheim-Mighty-Ducks-NHL-Jersey-SELANNE-8-CCM-Purple-Mens-XL-/200686960478?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item2eb9dfff5e Too good to be true?
  6. This new coach is getting as much respect from his Ducks, after taking over, as the one in D3: The Mighty Ducks, got from his. :/
  7. Thank you for all your help. And a special thanks to member chadarini, who not only contacted me with an authentic Ducks jersey, but one that was EXACTLY (and I mean exactly) what I was looking for. Team-Issued, to boot! You guys rock.
  8. Glad I was able to find a real replica. Still want a real authentic, though. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-Anaheim-Mighty-Ducks-Authentic-CCM-Center-Ice-Hockey-Jersey-52-W-Fight-Strap-/110792110479?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item19cbb9718f
  9. Thank you for your answer.
  10. Thank you so much for all the answers, guys! I had my suspicious (ie. the size and cuts) and am glad I came here to get confirmation. Really appreciate it. I am, however, still searching for an authentic, authentic lol Ducks jersey. So, I hope you guys don't mind if I post a few of my findings up. Any ideas on this one? http://www.ebay.ca/itm/300633204787?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  11. Hi, everyone! I'm pretty sure this is an Authentic Reebok Jersey (not a Premier or Replica), but wanted to get your opinions on whether or not it's a fake/knockoff. http://montreal.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-clothing-mens-Jersey-DUCKS-COREY-PERRY-W0QQAdIdZ331378091 I know a thing or two about spotting fakes and authentics, but can't hurt to look for confirmation. Thanks in advance!
