Hi, I'm hoping I can get some help figuring out what this jersey is...It's obviously supposed to be a 1996-97 Kings 30 Anniversary jersey, but it doesn't have the 30 year patch. Everything else looks, good, except I always thought the Starter and NHL logos looked like fakes, until I just saw this.http://www.classicauctions.net/Default.aspx?tabid=263&auctionid=56&lotid=245 and mine looks just like this (as I said, minus the 30-yr patch) So what is it?..Authentic, Game Issue, or fake? The kind of example that needs to be made. Torres wouldn't learn, kept targeting the head. How many good players do you have to knock out before you get axed...permanently?

Avery is more likely to get his own teammates fighting with each other as he is to rile up the other team. He is poison, and if any team wanted him, they could have him for practically nothing. Penner has been playing soft, but you still have to mark him, and he is a good teammate. Lappy would be great to have. He managed to get under the other teams skin without making his own teammates hate him. I have heard a lot of folks saying we are missing Clifford. I can't stand when he is on the ice. Bad penalties, can't clear the zone, and he does these things not at "who cares" times, but at really key parts of a game.

That jerk doesn't deserve to be in the NHL. I will be glad if he never suits up again.

Turned out to be a great trade. Have any Kings fans actually NOTICED Jack Johnson missing? I haven't. Now, call me crazy, but I think we should sign Penner for 1 more year at 1/2 what he is making now. With Gagne back (possibly), we just need to lock Quick up, and we are good for 2013.

I'm interested to know if this season would have been any different. I am half bummed, half happy next year will be the same schedule. Bummed, because no one needs PHX 3x a year, or CBJ 2x, but happy, because I think that the current divisions slightly benefit my Kings.

Staples Center just raised their prices. We are upper middle back, which went from $860 a seat to $945 a seat. Still only $22-23 a game, but just another budget item to worry about.
