Ducks and Kings jerseys revealed. Check team sites and icethetics blog for pics. Ducks jersey - Orange with chrome logo. No shoulder yoke. Kings Jersey - Grey with chrome logo. Shoulder yoke. Similarities with these 2 jerseys and Isles jerseys - Angled numbers and striping on arms. No nameplates. Jerseys look sharp. Still think some purple on the Kings jersey would have really made it standout. Overall both look good but, I like the Kings better though.

ASG jersey is good.

That Swiss red jersey is horrible. So plain. Doesn't even look like a practice jersey. Nike is either too busy with their designs (Russia) or way too plain and boring ( Swiss, Canada). Can't find the happy medium.

Me too. Looks very clean. I would remove the striping from the pants as it starts to make the whole uniform a little too busy but otherwise very nice. Here's hoping all jerseys look good without being cookie cutter versions.

Thanks for the pic. Will include when I send it to Cutting Edge. So I am clear - stitched letters onto namplate and numbers on back and shoulder are all stitched. How are the blue and white layers stiched on the back? kiss-cut, reverse kiss cut? And for the sleeve numbers? Thanks

I don't think I would mind the chrome logos so much for the Rangers as long as its relegated to just a shoulder patch. Very curious to see how these jerseys look. My guess would be a lot of silver chrome for both dark and white jerseys, funky shoulder yokes, and thicker striping. I would be in favor of a vintage/off-white Rangers Heritage jersey but, I highly doubt that. Really hope NHL and Reebok didn't mess with the Blackhawks or Rangers jerseys. Doubtful that Devils would approve anything too crazy.Islanders, Pens, Kings, and Ducks have been much more experimental with their brands over the years. Would love to see an Orange Ducks jersey.

Got a response from Cutting Edge Sports and they confirmed they can accurately customize the 2009 NHL All-Star jersey, and 2011-2012 All-Star Game jerseys (Red and Blue styles). Each jersey would be $65 plus shipping with turnaround time before Christmas. Will likely be going with them and cross my fingers on the turnaround time.

Got off the phone with Arenawear. They will check if they have the "cuts" (I'm assuming fonts) for the 2009 jersey. He (Joe) said they generally don't do sublimation but, he will check the correct customization for the nameplate and numbers and give me a call back tomorrow. FYI - They do NOT do the 2011-2012 ASG jerseys because of the sublimation on the numbers. Also, he said its only $80 to customize any of the current Rangers EDGE jerseys, as opposed to the $100 that NHL store charges.

I'm going to reach out to Cutting Edge to see if they can customize these jerseys with sublimated namplate. Will let you know what they said. I also spoke to an employee at NHL store and they said that Arenawear can do customization for ANY Reebok jersey but, I'm not confident the employees know what they are talking about. May shoot them an email also and see what they say.

After looking at the jerseys a bit more, they are beginning to grow on me. I agree that most of these look more like long-sleeve shirts than jerseys. Good: Slovakia - Love the idea of having the anthem written out on the jersey. Very unique Sweden - Best olympic jerseys by far. Can't wait to get a Lundqvist! Russia - Awesome incorporation of the flag in a totally different way. The wings is Nike's best use of "fake" embroidery on shoulders. Weird: USA - Nike found a new way to incorporate the stars and stripes. I like the blue better though as it looks a lot cleaner.Not a fan of the crest. As a caveat I loved the USA '96 WCOH jersey Canada - The black is a little too funky for Canada. Red and white are pretty clean but, a little boring. Czechs Republic and Sweden - Looks like the flag was just printed onto the jersey. Both of these seem pretty plain. Does anyone know if retail authentics will be sold? Or will Nike do the 3-tier system - authentics (numeric sizing w/fight-strip), semi-authentic (numeric sizing with no fight-strap), and replicas (alpha-sizing).

I agree with what the regulars have said. Plus, demand is not very stable. Collectors may switch their collecting styles/preferences. But given how many fakes we all see (at arenas and in general) and knowing that eBay buyers aren't necessarily the savviest shoppers, I'm sure there's a buck to be made but, I can't imagine it would be worth the time or effort (or ire of actual collectors)
