Which group is this in? I know at least one group that not only allows fakes, but encourages them. I got kicked after I called out the admin on his -y behavior (he is getting pretty well known for that).

Got this in last week: Dainius Zubrus 2008-09 white set 1 game worn jersey. Zubrus wore this for 14 games scoring 4 goals and 3 assists in this jersey. This particular jersey is notable in that he was wearing this when he scored a franchise record-tying 4 goals in the 11/23/08 game in Tampa. Has some nice wear with multiple repairs, marks and burns.

Got this about 2-3 weeks ago but forgot to post it: Patrick Maroon 2017-18 red set 3 / Playoff set game worn jersey. Maroon actually wore 2 different red set 3 jerseys; he wore a size 58 for the first two games of the set schedule and then a size 58+ for the rest of the set schedule and playoffs. This is the 58+ jersey. I was able to photomatch it to a repair on the right arm to game 4 of the first round of the 2018 playoffs against Tampa.

Some double-digit numbers have that affect where it looks wonky in terms of position even though it is not. I have noticed if they start with a 1, 4, or 7 they tend to look weird/off-center. However, I think that's because there is more negative space on the left side compared to the other numbers.

No, not that one. I am actually banned from that one after calling the admin a clown. That same guy even got blasted in the Bad Jersey Seller/Trader group last week lol. No the $150 and under group has decent mods. The entertainment is in the posts. There was a week or two period last month where every other post was either about a scammer or asking for a legit check on the worst looking fake imaginable.

At this point I think they should change the name of the Bad Jersey Trader/Seller List to Bad Jersey Trader/Seller/Buyer List. Lately it seems like more than half the times the buyer is the party in the wrong. Also my new favorite group lately has been the Hockey Jersey Collectors (under $150) group. Not sure why I am in there but it's entertaining to say the least.

Congrats and it looks great! Those marks definitely made it matchable to the third RR game on 3/16/21.

Forgot to post this: Picked up my Andreas Johnsson Devils Reverse Retro set 1 game worn jersey on Monday. Worn in the first three RR games this season, the jersey has some wear on it considering it was only worn in 3 games. It has some burns/marks as well as a nice tear on the front stripe that was repaired. I was able to match the tear to a photo from the second game against the Rangers in March, so I am happy. I have to say, these look much better in person than on TV.

I have been meaning to mention this since the weekend. For years I have been firmly in the camp of always posting a price on listings. However, over the past year or so of behavior I see online in the various FB groups, I have to say I am getting more and more sympathetic to the "PM for price" option. The price shaming in some of the groups have gotten pretty out of control. It also doesn't help that 90% of the ones leading that charge are guys that I never or rarely contribute to begin with. Overall, things that I used to see black in white in this hobby has slowly turned into a lot of shades of gray. Edit: I see my previous posts from a month or so ago is about the same thing. I guess it is getting that bothersome to me (or that I am slowly losing my mind lol).

Really? I held one once in the Devils Den team store and I thought that at least the material was better. I would take the better material and build over the double elbows and fight strap any day.

Didn't Adidas sell the MiC Parley jerseys to the public when the SJ ASG happened a couple years back? If so, this may be a good sign that there is a chance Adidas will do the same thing with authentics going forward.

I am not even sure if their goal is to drive the market down. I think they are just talking out of their Arse.

Thank god you guys do. I mostly see it in the game worn groups these days. It's always been around but now I am seeing pretty consistently.

The amount of I guess you can call "price shaming" in these groups has just gone to hell over the past year. And 99% of the time it is from people I have never or hardly ever post before. What's wrong if not liking the price to just moving on?

Johnny Oduya 2006-07 red set 3 / playoffs game worn jersey. Photomatched to the small mark on the crest to game 1 of the 2007 round 1 series against the Lightning. Some light but noticeable wear. Nice rookie year gamer with the Devils 25th patch.

I actually came really close to being a Rangers fan very early on. First NHL game was a Devils game in late 1989 and between then and when we got our first year of season tickets in 1991-92 I almost became a Rangers fan. It is mostly because MSG was on basic cable while SportsChannel required a cable box from TKR cable that few had. Hell we didn't get SportsChannel until the 92-93 season and we only had it on one TV in the basement. That 92-93 season I watched almost as much Rangers games as Devils games even though I was firmly a Devils fan by then.

If I was a Coyotes fan I would definitely get an old Kachina jersey and put Gartner on it. One of my favorite all-time non-Devil players. I remember watching him as a Ranger and whenever he went on a breakaway you knew that it was basically guaranteed to be a goal. Out of all the 700+ goal scorers in NHL history, he is easily the most underppreciated.

But it has blood stains on the front! (I can't imagine what those really are and if they are blood....yikes)

I don't think so. Between regular season and playoffs he played 9 games between those two jerseys. I mean this one does have good wear for such a short window so it is possible, but I would think it is unlikely.

I see this being used on ebay a lot these days. I search "authentic devils jersey" and I get a ton of replicas in the results.
