  1. Regarding the Devils RR, the ones people have received from stores the crest appears to be better placed. Also, the Devils posted a picture of the MiC ones they will be wearing on the ice and the crest looks to be in the normal position. I just think the one the model got at the announcement was a lemon.
  2. Devilsguy

    eBay version 4.0

This jersey was discussed in the Blues game worn group. The consensus there was to stay clear of it.
  3. He was quite good on an otherwise not so good early 2000's Chicago team. He lead the team twice in points (00-01 and 02-03). He also had a pretty good career in Nashville as well despite the injury issues. In NJ he is mostly known as the main piece in NJ's trade with Toronto for Gilmour.
  4. Steve Sullivan 2012-13 white set 2 game worn jersey. Sullivan wore two white set 2's that season. The first one was worn in the first away game and is a size 54. The second one was worn in the other 3 away games including his last NHL game and is a size 52. This is the size 52. Being that it was worn in 3 games it has light wear with just a mark on the left cuff and a few loose threads.
  5. Nice and that is indeed a match! Found a couple more pics from that game that is a match
  6. Thanks! Yeah he has been a solid Devils for sure. It just sucks that he will likely go down as being one of the better players during a bad time in Devils history.
  7. Got this in late last week: Kyle Palmieri 2018-19 white set 1. Kyle wore this for 15 games and scored 7 goals and 4 assists while wearing this. Photomatched it go several games and has evidence of the alternate captain's A being removed.
  8. Newest addition: Valeri Kamensky 2001-02 red set 2 game worn jersey. Has some good wear considering he played 30 games total that season for the Devils. Due to the limited amount of games he played with the Devils, I can imagine that his Devils gamers are not easy to find.
  9. I am actually pretty surprised about how well it turned out. I was expecting to hate 75% of them, but I would say I love or like 2/3 of them. There are some pretty big misses (Det, NYI and Pittsburgh come to mind for me) but by and large most got it right or mostly right.
  10. Thanks and totally agree. Kassy didn’t even enter the NHL until he was 30. Going by strictly NHL stats he probably was somewhat of a footnote but he still is pretty known hockey-history wise. It also makes it ironic that I completed a trade for it where I am getting a lesser players jersey back. The player that I’m getting back is a jersey that’s been on my want list for years. I am ok with parting with Kassy for it as I have very few personal memories of him while I def remember the player coming back. I lost the trade but I guess I can’t win them all if I want to get what I want. I’ll probably post the jersey I got in the new arrivals section when I get it, which will be a while. It’s a surprise (and a lot of you will probably say “you traded Kassy for THAT?!?!”)
  11. Sorry lol my afternoon has been very busy. Here is short version: Post that I have a 90-91 red Kasatonov Devils up for trade. Specifically say I am looking for higher-end Devils or, in particular, Devils gamers of either Bill Guerin, Stephane Richer, Scott Niedermayer or Alex Mogilny Literally first comment I get is "Some famous names in the trade list. Are you sure Alexei is on par with them?" In what world is a member of the Green Unit, 2-time Olympic gold medalist, a 1-time Silver Medalist, a starting lineup member of the 1980 Miracle on Ice Soviet team, and a IIHF HOF inductee not at least on par with Guerin or Richer?
  12. Today I remembered the hard way why I rarely post jerseys up for trade in the FB groups.
  13. Sami Vatanen 2019-20 Heritage Set 2. Only worn in the game against NYI on 1/7/20 where the Devils lost 4-3. Practically no wear but liked Vats in his brief time in NJ and love the style.
  14. Just got an email about a Caps grab bag. Grand prize is an Ovi gamer.
  15. To this days a lot of fans that are not jersey nuts like we are purchase their jerseys at the arena.
  16. I have a feeling the announcement is contingent on how next season will look like. If the NHL is not going to allow fans into the arenas, it makes little sense to release something for the public to buy that they cannot see in-person and would be better off pushing until the 21-22 season.
  17. And here I thought they only did grab bags for trash teams. At least that is the message that was coming from the Flyers game worn group over the weekend;)
  18. Didn't want to create a new thread, but did anyone partake in the Meigray Devils grab bag they posted on Friday? It sold out in a few hours. I was tempted, but decided not to as I didn't like my odds. I would have been happy with about 7 of the 30 jerseys they posted.
  19. In the Reebok years, I would find premier replicas in Marshalls and Burlington in the late august/early September timeframe quite a bit for $25-50. They were either blank or had factory customization in some cases. This was back before overstock sellers like fullmoon collapsed the market about 5 or so years ago and blank replicas were still going for $70+
  20. Blake Coleman 2018-19 white set 1. Played 15 games in this jersey and scored 5 goals and 4 assists while wearing it. Photomatched several times but especially so to the black mark above the crest to a game on 12/10/18 in SJ. Also a brand new Stanley Cup champion I must add as well.
  21. Got this in over the weekend: Max Novak Albany Devils Ugly Christmas Sweater game worn jersey. Worn by Max in the game against Syracuse back in 12/6/15. Max scored the 4th goal in a 4-0 win.
  22. IIRC, didn't that customizer/manufacturer who used to post on here a bit (handle is on the tip of my tongue) mention once that one of the fabrics (not air-knit) on the Edge jerseys cost more per yard than most materials used to make wedding dresses? That would explain why Reebok/Adidas probably started making the Indo's because their cost were significantly higher than the 6100's.
  23. Forgot where I heard it, but I did hear something about that new "fourth jersey" program the NHL was getting most, if not all, teams involved in is being shelved for 20-21 and instead is pushed to 21-22 due to the uncertainty of if fans will be in the stands next season. Anyone else hear something of this sort?
  24. What about game worn jerseys? I can see this working on replicas and authentics, but not so sure about game worn jerseys. A lot of times, game worn jerseys are considered more as "sports memorabilia" than clothing. Edit: So I checked NJ State sales tax guide and this is what I found: Sales of articles of clothing and footwear for human use are exempt from New Jersey Sales Tax. This exemption does not apply to fur clothing; accessories or equipment; sport or recreational equipment, or protective equipment (unless the protective equipment is necessary for the daily work of the user). Sport or Recreational Clothing and Footwear/Equipment Sport or recreational equipment that is worn only in conjunction with a particular sport or recreational activity is taxable. Articles that can be adapted for general use not exclusively connected with a sporting activity are exempt from tax. 21 New Jersey Sales Tax Guide Rev. 11/18 Taxable: Athletic Shoes (cleated or spiked) Ballet and Tap Shoes Baseball and Hockey Gloves Bicycle Shorts (padded) Bowling Shoes Fishing Boots (waders) Gloves (e.g., baseball, bowling, boxing, hockey, golf) Goggles (nonprescription) Golf Shoes Hand and Elbow Guards Helmets (sports and motorcycle) Ice Skates Life Preservers and Vests Mouth Guards Protective Masks Roller Blades Roller Skates (boot and screw-on) Shin Guards and Padding Shoulder Pads Ski Boots Skin Diving Suits Snorkel and Scuba Masks Sweatbands Swim Fins Track Shoes and Cleats Wetsuits and Fins Exempt: Athletic Supporters Children’s Sports and Play Uniforms (e.g.,football, baseball, karate) Hooded Shirts Jogging or Running Shoes, Suits Knitted Caps or Hats Overshoes, Coats, Mittens, Parkas, and Trousers (sometimes sold in the trade as hunting, skating, and skiing apparel but suitable for general outdoor wear and commonly worn other than in a particular sport) Pullovers, Turtlenecks, and Other Sweaters Ski Masks So would hockey jerseys, even game worn, be considered as "Other Sweaters" and is therefore exempt?
