  1. Yeah that's why the fee. Unless otherwise, from what I've been hearing/seeing it is looking like the amount of dealers this year will be low again. Last year there were 2, and the only ones I know for sure who will be there are the same 2 from last year. Hoagie (Iceviolence), Joe Tomon (J&J Distributing) and Steiner used to come to expos in the past, but they have been missing. Hoagie used to be at every Meigray expo up until 2-3 years ago. Not sure why.
  2. Nah that's actually a common question. There are two types of tables at the show: Dealer tables and Collectors tables. Dealer tables are $250 while collector tables are fee (well you have to pay admission of course lol). Main difference is that Dealer tables can buy/sell/trade during the show while collectors tables you can't buy and sell. I do believe trading is allowed. I got a collector table and just want to show off and see what other people have. I might have a gamer or two I might be willing to trade if the right jersey comes in through the door though.
  3. I'm actually going to ask Stu to place me by another collector I am buddies with. Let's see what he says. Maybe he will be on one side and you on the other lol.
  4. Not only am I going, but I actually signed up for a table so I will be displaying. Please feel free to drop by and say hello and try on and touch all the jerseys you want. However, that is only after you ate a plate of nachos and buffalo wings from Willie McBride's around the corner of course.
  5. Ten days away and haven't seen the usual topic for this at this time of year. Who is going to be there? Guest speaker is Keith Jones and new grab bag concept this year. Who is doing the grab bag?
  6. They needed a reason to get rid of me. Worked out to my favor.
  7. True, but it wasn't during a sale either lol
  8. Agreed about the Devils uniforms. I think they are pretty snazzy and the retro colors look really nice on the Edge template. It's one of the few things I think Lou did right for all of his years in NJ where he resisted adding a 3rd jersey.
  9. I've gotten Andy Greene gamers for $300 (and less). That's why I think the price for the GI is a little much and not trying to argue.
  10. I never valu GI's over customized authentics. To me they are the same thing. That's why I really don't collect them unless the prices as good. GI's in the 2016 Devils retro auction started at over $300. In the grand scheme of things the $295 price is good for the Greene, but comparing it to the others it is a little out of whack when Rolston was I believe $195, and Parise (who was also captain) was also $295. I would put Greene on the same level as Zajac and he was $250.
  11. I honestly think that Greene's at $295 is a little high. They should be $250 at most. I guess it is because he is still on the team.
  12. They are nice and now I have a choice if I want to wear one to a game. This is now my 5th Reebok Edge Devils retro jersey. Have the Pando GI, Greene 2014 retro night game worn, Sykora 2012 retro night game worn and the Josefson Stadium series period 1 game worn.
  13. Picked this one up from Meigray yesterday. Paul Martin 2010 Retro GI. These look amazing in person and could stare at it all day. Paul Martin 2009-10 Retro Game Issued by pinkfloydnj102, on Flickr
  14. The best part is I have never paid any shipping charges from them ever:)
  15. Caved in and bought another Devils retro GI from Meigray. Just came back a little bit ago from the Meigray offices and got a Paul Martin. Will post tomorrow after I take it home tonight and take photos.
  16. I don't think that Brodeur really belongs in here. It's a little much, but not completely unrealistic considering that all of his stuff went up since this past February after his retirement ceremony. That jersey also sold for just under $10K with hammer fees on classic auctions back a year ago.
  17. Montreal markets and sells their game worn jerseys themselves, therefore they do not have any Meigray-owned stock. There is only one PK Subban on there and it is a consignment item which is not part of the sale.
  18. People stand by Dorholt on the Devils HFBoards page and they treat him like a god over there. They describe his stuff as "quality" work but those who are saying it are like you said don't know any better. That Stastny was nice too. Had it customized by EPS and it was perfect.
  19. Plus that Crowder is an "off" brand and not Maska/CCM. BTW the one he has of mine is the Stastny retro white CCM replica.
  20. 100% correct. It's either or, not both.
  21. It's all manually done by Meigray. I see them do it when I pay for it in person. The website just creates a sort of virtual purchase order with your information and then they go ahead and manually enter your card information into the system. You should all be fine.
  22. Ouch! I paid just under $300 for a Devils Brian Rolston game worn and under $200 for my Colin White pre-Edge and my Edge 2.0 Jay Pandolfo game worn. All of those are cup winners too with White and Pandolfo winning 2 each.
