I agree that it is unacceptable. He left no indication of any sort of special shipping times or circumstances like vacation that would delay shipment. Plus on the listing he has that he ships within 3 days. I'll send a message tonight, but if I don't have anything by Sunday morning I am filing a claim. The kicker is that according to the listing the seller is in Englishtown, NJ. That's only about a 50 min drive from me. I could just pick it up at this point lol.

Slightly off-topic, but how long do you normally give sellers time to ship an item out? Can you file a dispute if the seller doesn't ship out in a timely manner? Reason is I won an auction and paid for it within 10 minutes of the auction ending. That was Sunday night at about 8PM. It is now Friday afternoon and no update as to the item being shipped. I even sent a message to the seller on Thursday morning to see if there was any update, and nothing back. Guy has in the past 12 months 8 positive and 1 neutral feedback. Neutral was the buyer saying this seller is slow to ship. Seller shipped out an item on 11/13 when the guy paid for the item on 10/26.

I'm thinking it is a sizing issue. Devils back then were super cheap and wouldn't waste money on prepping GI's like candy like a lot of teams do today.

Back then the Devils equipment staff did a lot of things they don't do now. Could be the size was off and that's why he never wore it. Could also be that he never got a chance. Terreri became the starter that year after Burke sat out and Billington became the backup with a couple of no-name goalies playing a few games each in between. I think one of those two was Martin something. Who knows and who cares about him. Another thing that happened that year with the Devils is that they wore their set 1 jerseys for a really long time. As in they wore their set 1's from the beginning of the season until about 2-3 weeks left in the season. That's why their set 1's from that year tend to be destroyed (and more valulable) while the set 2's tend to be pretty clean. It could be Billington just never had the chance to wear this one as well. Who knows for sure though.

Got this one in today. Pierre Dagenais Albany River Rats 2000-01 away game worn jersey. Jersey has good wear all over the body with repairs, holes and marks throughout. Also has the most amount of pilling I have ever seen on any jersey as it is both inside the jersey and on the outside. Was calling up to the NHL for a few games that year and scored his first NHL goal in his first game. Also played on the Panthers and Canadiens and had one decent season in Montreal from what I remember. Also is still owns the single season goal scoring record in the FHL when he got 80+ goals in about 45 games in 11-12 season.

Not great, but def an improvement of what they have been wearing.

Yeah fullmoonjerseys usually sell overstock and from what I have seen have always sold legit stuff.

Yeah exactly where I am too. I do have a couple of jerseys I am looking to trade, but no takers yet. They are at least something I could sell down the line if I see something I really want, so not completely tapped out yet but getting pretty close. There is also a jersey that I have that a buddy wants. It's a jersey that took me a while to get, so kind of not wanting to part with it. However, there is a part of me that might if the right return comes back, and it would have to include a jersey and not just $.

Mitchell and Ness has really been hammered since they were bought out by Adidas. Before they were big fish in a pretty small market which is nostalgia wear. Now every brand makes it and it's hard for them to compete when their stuff is overpriced and they have been lacking in quality lately. I think it was them who a couple year ago released a re-creation throwback of the 1994 Rangers Stanley Cup finals jersey of Messier and they used the wrong bottom striping. Hope they step up their game, lower pricing (a t-shirt shouldn't be $35-45 retail) and finally know how long a jersey should be. Edit: just remembered it was CCM that messed up the messier jersey. Still they need to step up on their quality that has gone down in recent years if they want to continue to try to sell these for $300 retail and way to long for most people to wear.

I gotta double check on this, but I think they switched from Ultrafil to airknit in the middle of the 95-96 season. My Andreychuk 96-97 set 1 red is stamped as 95-96 playoffs set, but they were never used in the playoffs as they missed them in the last game of the season, so it got carried over to the next season. In 94-95 they wore set 1's throughout the regular season and playoffs due to the shortened schedule. They then wore a different set in the finals. The usual playoff set from that year got carried over into 95-96 set 1, so I think that's the last set of Ultrafil they used, but gotta confirm that.

I was gonna say his description is saying he wore it at the beginning of the season but his own picture of the LOA says otherwise.

As promised from the other thread got another gamer last night. Ken Daneyko 2000-01 Red Set 1 game worn jersey. Some pretty good wear all over the body but especially on the sleeves. Nice addition to my collection as Daneyko gamers have pretty much dried up.

Anyways I didn't win anything last night but did well. By that I mean I had a deal with another collector who is selling me something out of his collection to pay for the lots he won. Should have it up in the new arrivals thread by Friday morning.

The 10% escalator and the 20% buyers premium is actually pretty standard in these auctions. Classic does it too as does a lot of the other traditional auction houses like Heritage, Lelands, etc. The one thing that GW Auctions differs is that they only accept cash, MO, bank draft or personal/cashiers checks. The other auction houses have a rule where they do not accept credit/Paypal for the first time you win a lot, but after that you can use credit/Paypal. I have mixed feeling about that part. It's annoying and very 20th century, but at the same time it's basically cash and carry with the auctions, so whomever has the most money in their pocket wins. I'd rather have that than losing it to some dude because his credit limit was higher than mine. The high-end items that hey have is what really allows these auction houses to get away with these rules. It's quite rare for jerseys of this quality to pop up on eBay or FB. I mean, outside of putting your name on a list at Meigray or just sitting and waiting and hoping, where else are you going to get that level of stuff? Hell even with the 20% buyers premium there were some good buys in there. That Devils Niedermayer being one of them.

Their thing is that all lots remain open as lon as there is bidding. Bidding on all lots end when there are no bids on any lot for 10 minutes. Figured it would end like it normally does at 2AM which is ridiculous but 5AM is brutal. I agree it should be per lot.

GW auctions "ended" at 10PM last night, but with extended bidding it really didn't end until just after 5AM this morning. Disgusting.

I remember the same seller with the Devils Volchenkov had a big sale about 2-3 years ago of Devils replicas, authentics and a couple of gamers where he started them really cheap. A couple of the jerseys were fakes but the rest were real. I don't think he is a jersey collector, just a fan who likes jerseys as some of them were pretty improperly customized. Last time he did it I think he told me that it was due to needing $ fast, so perhaps he is in another financial bind again. The one thing he didn't tell me was how filthy the jersey he sent me was. His pictures weren't the best, but when I got the jersey it had stains all around the wrist from food and other grime. I later sold it after washing it but just remember being a little grossed out by it. This is coming from a guy who wears gamers to games sometimes haha. Most likely the Volchenkov is a flash sale jersey. The one thing a lot of them had in common was the wear was minimal at best. The Zidlicky I picked up had virtually no wear but at the price I paid I couldn't beat it.
