  1. Bill Henderson is good people. I've worked with him for a few years now and he can do basically anything. I would recommend him above all others for MLB stuff. That is a great Cards jersey too. You don't see the 90's Rawlings ones around too often. I found an 80's pullover version a few months ago that appears to be coming off all clean.
  2. Jeez, you can't even show the killer job I did on the back?? Thanks a lot! Full disclosure here: I have ZERO recollection of ever doing that one for you! But I'll take your word.
  3. God, this is such minor-league garbage. They all just look like those old off-color Starter replicas that were released back in the late 90's.
  4. The only things missing from those Dallas unis is the pacifiers, glow sticks and goat leggings.
  5. That Wamsley is killer! Is it all vinyl? That style should be but it's hard to tell. The nameplate looks strange too. Almost like twill. That was a really nice style that is almost ruined by the fact that it's all heat-pressed garbage. I had a white Jocelyn Lemieux a while back and the back numbers just flaked apart. If they used twill in those years, it would be among my favorites. Speaking of, Rick Wamsley was traded along with Rob Ramage for Brett Hull. That's still one of the most one-sided trades in NHL history.
  6. Who do they think they are? The Saints?? Consequently, I really liked those unis. I had one for a while but a friend of mine wanted it more.
  7. I have one that I use to finish the edges of nameplates but that's really all I use it for. Sometimes, I'll hem up a pair of new dress pants with it but that's about it. There is a small knife at the front of the foot that trims the material down to size as you move it through the machine. Believe it or not, the seams you're showing in that shot are not done with a serger. I think it's called a hemlock stitch but I'm not sure how those are done.

Now there's something I've never heard before!
  9. How about the man who pretty much single-handedly won the FA Cup?
  10. They couldn't be bothered to honor their time as the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies??? Pfffffffft.
  11. It's too late. I already deleted the shortcut.

It looks like a kid's jersey. That said, I actually wouldn't mind having one of those to cut up for nameplates. The material is impossible to find...even though I can count on one finger the amount of that style I've ever done for someone.

Holy crap, I know people are still spending a ton of money on toilet paper but that's ridiculous.
  14. That Gretzky sucks!!!!
  15. Didn't we already have this conversation like a month ago??
  16. At least he got the money he needed for beer.

It just screams of those old Starter blue jerseys that used to pop up all the time. I know MeiGray used to have one of these white unused jerseys on their website many years ago. From what I remember though, it didn't have the set 2 tag in it. That's what this kinda feels like to me. Also, those set tags were usually sewn over in navy thread on the white Liberty jerseys. But, I'll admit that I am being a little bit nit-picky there. It really just reminds me way too much of something like this: https://www.greyflannelauctions.com/lot-38862.aspx Any Rangers collector worth his salt can tell you that one is just wrong. They didn't wear the navy jerseys in 1998-99 and yet, there's the tag in the hem. Shocking! Not only that but it was "authenticated". Huh? It all just seems a little too good to be true..and you know what they say about that. Call me cynical if you want but, without actual documented proof of origin, I would be skeptical of any Rangers-related Gretzky stuff. There's too much crap out there to take such a chance.

I've gotten lots of good stuff from them before. Off the top of my head, I got my Tom Barrasso 1987 World Championship jersey and Billy Wagner 1995 Astros jersey from them. Maybe one of two others too. I can't remember anymore. They are great because, being in Matawan, they're only like 15 minuntes from my office so they let me pick everything up in person AND pay in cash. No taxes or shipping costs is huge.

Leland's is a really great auction house and I've had very good experiences dealing with them...BUT...their hockey stuff can be very suspect. I've seen a lot of questionable items that they've listed during their older auctions. That Gretzky is another one of those.
  20. Dammit, I missed the fun?? Who? Was I being insulted again? I love that...but then, I'm naturally an assho!e!
  21. Looks like the Flyers had an abundance of Nike material in 1999-00!
  22. Konstantinov might just be the biggest nightmare name to sew down. Either that or Vanbiesbrouck on the arch. Thank God Jamie Langenbrunner never played anywhere with an arch or without a nameplate. Funny story: A friend of mine way back when was in love with Jamie Langenbrunner for whatever reason. I did up a Stars jersey of his for her birthday one year. It turned out that the only size I could get for her was a 6100 sz 46 because of how small she was/is. The nameplate was so long on the back, it went to almost halfway between the elbow and the shoulder seam on each side.
  23. 69G sounds like a size that Olie Kolzig would have worn.
