  1. And the Flyers STILL haven't won a Stanley Cup! It's a win-win for everyone!!
  2. That's not the only thing Claude likes to squeeze! https://www.si.com/nhl/2014/07/03/claude-giroux-butt-grabbing-incident-misguided-attempt-at-humor
  3. I've had something incoming from jolly old England for over a month now. It's been sitting in Manhattan for the last two weeks with no movement. Limey bastids. He's probably a dirty Man United fan too.
  4. Fun fact: Just about all of the stereotypical guidos and douchebags you see in movies or on TV come from north Jersey...which is basically just New York...or Long Island. Us real NJ'ers hate them as much as everyone else. That's why we call them Bennys.
  5. HA! I kinda thought the same thing only mine was this:
  6. "...have the boarish manners of a Yaley."? I couldn't get past the eighteen hours of effing ads so I gave up.
  7. God, I worked in Seaside for a time too. I worked for a beer distributor from 2005-10 and did sales/merchandising for Monmouth and Ocean County. Seaside was prominent real estate obviously. I drove a big F-350 van wrapped with Heineken Light details. The worst part was having to swerve or jam on the brakes while driving down the street where that stupid house was because some clown was in the road trying to take a picture of it. It was right up the road from the Aztec on Ocean Terrace I think.
  8. Hey come on...ease up on the Jersey shore venom. We're not all roided-out douchebag guidos. Take a look at my friends and I from last week:
  9. That one makes no sense. Todd Harvey (along with Bob Errey...a.k.a. Penguin Turds) was traded to the Rangers from Dallas at the 1998 deadline for Brian Skrudland and Mike Keane. He never wore CCM; only Starter. I hope you didn't buy that under the guise of it being game-worn.
  10. I've got about 20-30 jerseys that need doing right now but I ran out of white thread. I had to order it online since there are no stores open that I can buy it from. This was April 6th. It shipped on Thursday and has been "in transit" ever since with no movement. I'm thinking about burning the post office down so anyone interested is welcome to come along.
  11. Before you dive into the world of solvents, try something relatively easy. Get an old t-shirt that you can cut up the side. Once you do, put one of the sides over the removed area and hit it with a hot and steamy iron. Use some pressure and keep it moving constantly. That should...SHOULD remove a lot of what's there now.
  12. Turn it inside out and try to pull the material directly behind the numbers away from the twill. If it does, you might be able to get it off clean. The downside to all of this is that even if it all does come off, you might not have a perfectly clean back. And since everything is totally inaccurate, there's no guarantee that the new and correct set will cover everything up. You could use a solvent to get any possible residue off but then you run the risk of damaging the autograph. I've cleaned up old ultrafil successfully before in some cases and then I've also made things much worse in others. It's definitely a crapshoot.
  13. Brilliant!

    eBay version 4.0

What the hell is a Tiger King Joe Exotic? Actually, nevermind. I've already lost interest.
  14. The difference between retail on-field and game-worn MLS jerseys is zero. I've held them side-by-side and tried to find a difference and I can't. Everything is the same. Tagging, crests, sponsors, lettering. Nothing is stitched; it's all either heat-pressed rubber (crests and MLS logos) or vinyl (lettering). The older versions like Nike did have different aspects that you couldn't find in stores but the Adidas stuff is really identical. I've always had a small fear in my stomach that all the "worn" jerseys I've ever bought are just retail stuff and that I got hosed big-time. In fact, here's a funny story. I brought my soccer stuff to the last MeiGray Expo and I didn't realize until someone commented on one of my Red Bulls ones that I'd brought my RETAIL version and not the actual worn one! The only difference was the size.
  15. Not all. Maybe a little more than half.
  16. Wait a minute...did somebody say Red Bulls????? What about the Metrostars??
  17. I guess it's easy when you play for almost 30 years!
  18. Seems to me that you also got the reference so....
  19. Wow! These are horrendous. Somebody tell Adidas that Minas Tirith, not Los Angeles, is the City of Kings.
