  1. That's a simple one to replicate. It's from the 1994 season. I've owned several of that style. God I LOVE those Dutch jerseys! Especially that Schoop. They've been one of my favorite baseball styles for a while now but I can never seem to find one in a decent size...and I do agree. The Nederland was so much cooler. I have a similar Vladdy Expos jersey but it's an earlier version. In fact, I recently managed to find a French Jackie Robinson patch. That was a hard one to track down. I had to pull it off an old BP jersey.
  2. I can have done practically anything in the last forty years of MLB.
  3. That's true. I also have a Gators Erron Kinney (6' 6", 250+ lbs) jersey from the 1996 season and it's like a girl's belly shirt from the 80's. My biggest complaint with the current football jerseys is the printed numbers. It's such a crappy look. Just grow up and use twill like the big boys do.
  4. The level of abuse that football jerseys get is unthinkable. Imagine hitting a rubber wall at full speed with your shoulder. That's basically it. They have to be able to not only fix but delay additional material failure. That's why there is so much stitching used. I've seen some NHL teams do it like that before. Edmonton definitely. The Rangers did it like that for a while too but only in a swirl pattern.
  5. Printed patches for Notre Dame???? That is EXTREMELY disappointing. They should be using chain-stitched logos! Unfortunately, those dimensions are fairly standard for today's football jerseys. They're designed for amazing athletes to wear as tight as possible to prevent giving the guy on the other side of the line anything to grab onto. Years ago, I bought an old 2006 Florida Gators Marcus Gilbert jersey. He's 6' 6", 330 lbs. It's a size 46. I tried it on when I first bought it and it was like a dress on me. But to be fair, I did look pretty hot in it.
  6. Ryan Hollweg did the Rangers in that season. God I hated that meathead butthole.
  7. You mean you don't speak Boston Mongrel.
  8. Hey Rawn! RAWN!! Put down tha Pepridge Fahm and look at me when I tawk to ya, mahdafacka! This gawddamn Texas bastid keeps cawlin an bustin my chawps about his friggin Blues juhsey! You gawta help me out an staht screenin these cawls or I'll smash ya gawddamn face in and give ya old lady a royal hawt pissah in the pahkin lawt aftah the Drawpkick cawncit tamarrah!
  9. That's not a California Golden Seals but an Oakland Seals jersey. The closed circle in the crest is the giveaway. Their first season in 1967 wasn't drawing the way they had wanted so they thought changing the name of the city would help. It didn't. Also, I don't think it's a Rawlings piece. That size tag looks to be General Athletic. Having said all that, GOOD EFFING GOD! That thing is from 1967. Was anyone here around in 1967? I know I sure wasn't. But for the love of God...did you have to lay it on a goddamn bush to take the picture???
  10. Are you guys really just going to gloss over that Martin Gelinas jersey?? What a stunner! What year is it? No patches makes me think anywhere from 95-98.
  11. Are they the on-ice jerseys? I'm not sure they are. They call them 'authentic' on the site but the sizes are all letters. Oh, I guess I should have prefaced that by asking if you were looking here: http://www.icehockeyuk.uk/index.php/ihuk/great-britain-mens-authentic-nike-jersey.html
  12. I tried getting the thickest gauge needle I could find and even lubed it up with Sewer's Aide. MLB uses them too now which pisses me off. I tried putting on a Player's Weekend patch onto a Yankees jersey and almost broke the needle in the machine.
  13. Tony Granato had the rookie goal scoring record for the Rangers in 1988-89. Then, the year after, they traded him and Tomas Sandstrom for Bernie Nicholls. I'll say that again. For Bernie Nicholls.
  14. I wish I wasn't on Alyssa Milano's no touch list. Wait...what?
  15. I HATE HATE HATE those stupid new patches. They're impossible to sew down. The needle can't get through the material. I don't know how the league does it.
  16. Where'd you get those Warsteiner patches?? Some jerk???
  17. I'd rather have Rob Zamuner or Shayne Corson.
  18. You mean orange air-knit? Or orange EDGE?
  19. I wholeheartedly endorse the removal of all Weiner Wayne lettering.
  20. Whoa. Where'd you find that?? Are you 100% sure that's a retail?? Because I see a lot there that screams game-worn. Most notably that CORRECT super-bold number font. Those are almost NEVER done correctly. The looooong wings on the nameplate is a big clue too. Is there a Rawlings tag anywhere inside?? I need more information!!!!
  21. Yes and yes. It's not easy at all and leaves a lot of pilling. I would recommend using numbers close to or identical to what you're taking off to minimize scarring.
  22. Uhhhh excuse me but there's a certain New York team that has more outdoor wins than ANYONE. Yall better chiggity-check yourselves.
  23. Nike jerseys were so big, Olie Kolzig would have worn a 46-G.
  24. interesting. I'm not sure I've ever seen a pro version of an Athletic Knit jersey. They actually gave the USA their jerseys for the 1976 Canada Cup when the players complained that the Wilson durene set they got for the pre-tournament games were way too heavy.
  25. What is it? I can't see anything there. It's almost like it's......invisible.
